The Logitech Trackball Marble mouse T-BC21 is fast and has pin-point control right at your fingertips with a smooth-tracking Marble. Works great left or right-handed. I have been using the same mouse five days a week for the last ten years or more. Great investment!

For some reason, most people still use a mouse at their desktop computer. The trackball in general is far superior, and this trackball has one of the best designs. With the large ball in the center, the device can be used by right or left handed people. Plus, it avoids the thumb fatigue factor associated with all trackballs that place the ball under the thumb. The one thing that would improve this trackball would be a better paging and scrolling option. The small buttons provided for those functions are a little awkward to use.

After buying Logitech products in the past I was already familiar with the brand. I bought this trackball because my trackpad goes haywire once in a while. Turns out, this trackball also saves me from getting carpal tunnel syndrome...that's when your wrist goes bizerk from using a mouse all day...don't quote me on that part thouh, I'm not a doctor, none-the-less, suffice it to say that this trackball saves the wear and tear on my wrist. Awesome product, Get one!

Using this device is as simple as plugging it into my USB port and clicking away. I love the ease of install and this particular style of mouse is what I prefer. The trackball is precise and I appreciate that I don't have to scratch my desktop because the mouse pretty much remains stationary. I would highly recommend this product to those who like the trackball-style mouse. Plus the cost, in particular at Best Buy, makes it a great deal!

Works left or right handed and with Mac or PC (I use it with both); just plug and play. I prefer it to the cordless models; no worries about batteries dying at inconvenient moments. The size and position of the ball makes it easy to use with my mild arthritis. I can't say how it is with moderate or severe arthritis; check back with me in another decade or so.

No mouse can come close to replacing my Logitech Cordless Optical Trackman that just recently died. That said, this trackman marble is fine, especially for $20. only problem I have with it is the lack of scroll wheel, and the position of the 'forward' button kind of sucks. my solution for the scrolling though was to find an AutoHotkey script that allows me to hold the back button while moving the ball to scroll. it works great like that. (the 'marble mouse' utility for scrolling that most people recommend does nothing, at least on windows 10)

I use this on a linux system. It works just fine. I had one about 15 or so years ago which eventually died and this has the same or very close form factor. we bought the more expensive one with the blue roller ball but that forces my hand into too high an arc and is uncomfortable to use where as this one has the maroon ball and fits my hand a lot better. the more expensive blue ball one is being used else where by someone with more appropriately sized hands.
so it looks like I now own 3 or 4 of these. - so clearly I like them a lot or am absent minded.. My only beef is that I haven't yet set it up to do the extended scroll up and down through the windows. I thought I had but apparently not. These are much better value if you can get them on sale. Even then they tend to be pricey compared with the cheap on sale mouse but I'm happy

Over the years I've had several track balls from different manufacturers, and always Logitech stood out as my favorite. This version is pretty much everything I need to reliably move the cursor around the screen. I'd like to have a wheel-like function like my mouse has, but I can live without it. Besides, the trackball and the mouse can work side by side, so I can have the best of both.
The trackball is comfortable under my hand, and it is very accurate once I got used to it. By all means download the software that lets you customize the responses and settings. A little time with setting up will pay back huge benefit. It did for me, at least.
This is an item I can definitely say is worth getting.

I swear by this trackball mouse and will continue to. I have been using this mouse for years both at work and at home. When I was asked during my onboarding technology setup at work, "What mouse would I like?", I immediately located the Trackman Trackball Mouse and requested it to be ordered. Using it is a delight. You can setup "program" to button functions and dial in the movement of the trackball for precise for use in programs such as Photoshop. The other great thing about this mouse is that you do not feel any fatigue or discomfort, even after all day use. Finally, this mouse can be used with MacOs without any lack in functionality! If you're looking for a comfortable, precise and enjoyable alternative to a mouse…Hesitate not and buy the Logitech Trackman Trackball Mouse!

Moving my index finger only as opposed to the mouse just seems to make more sense, and once you get used to it you don't go back. The Logictech Trackman is well priced, well made, and made to last.

This is the only mouse I ever want to use. It's absolutely perfect. Simple, sleek, comfortable to use -- and the position of the trackball gives such precision the only thing better would be an actual cintiqe. (That's not hyperbole: I went to art school, and every time I took a digital class both students and teachers were astonished by and fell in love with this little thing.) It does take some getting used to of course, because it's not positioned like a "normal" mouse -- but everyone I know that's made the effort to switch has been delighted with the end result. Works great with laptops, too, where you don't always have access to a flat desk-like surface. With this mouse it doesn't matter, because it doesn't need one. Absolute perfection. I hope they never, ever stop making it!

I now have four of these silver mice with the red ball. Before a friend encouraged me to try these a few years ago, I would get a stiff sore arm from positioning a traditional mouse for long hours at my computers. I no longer click wrong points when drafting or changing software programs. It worked wonders for my fatigue. I now have them on my office and shop computers and carry one in my lap top bag as well. I love this mouse!

Way better than a mouse. Also more comfortable to use and far more precise control. I have two of these at home and one at work. When you first switch to the trackball from a mouse, it seems a little awkward at first, but after 10 minutes or so of getting used to only moving one finger instead of your whole hand, you'll never go back to the mouse again. I liked it so much, I bought several, one for each computer in the house.
