Customers are pleased with the statues, gameplay, and the overall collector's edition of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. Many also appreciated the discounted price and the inclusion of a steelbook. While some found the story lacking and wished for a more diverse character roster, the positive feedback on the physical aspects of the collector's edition outweighs the negative comments. The detailed figures were also a highlight for many buyers.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite Collector’s Edition is a must have if you’re a fan of the series you get a lot of collectibles and DLC content with it. It’s well worth buying.

To start off, the collector's edition was a disappointment. The figures don't look too nice, they have smudges and marks on them. The infinite stones look terrible. They only look nice when they light up. But overall the collectibles was bad. 2/5.
Now to the game itself.
To start it off, the graphics. They look really bad in my opinion. Dante is one of the worst looking models. The character menu is so uninspiring compare to the previous titles.
The music is ok. Some are good and some are bad. It's really a mixed bag.
The story is bad. What makes it so bad is the dialogue and awkward movement. (Some of the characters they choose for this game makes no sense. Spencer? Really? Frank west to some degree as well)
Gameplay is actually fun. It's fast paced which bothers me because I get into it and before you know it the fight is over. Which is a good thing on their end.
Overall the game itself is 3/5. An average game. I recommend you get when it's on sale.

Game is fun. Not sure why resources were spent on a full-on story mode. Arcade story would've served fine. Graphics are unbalanced. Sound is lackluster. Repeating that the game is fun. The figures are nice. Infinity stones match comics not promotional material. Came with batteries for lights. Glad GCU applies to CE.

The battle mechanics in this game are very fun, and any fan of the VS series would have a great time playing this game. Unfortunately, the roster is terrible as it has a lot of characters that most people don't really like much. The story is a nice addition, but it could have been better if characters acted more like themselves.
If you've played it and love the gameplay, it's worth the purchase. If you're on the fence at all, wait for a price drop and additional DLC characters to be released.

At the price this collector's edition is currently at, it is definitely worth it! The game had a rough launch, but the gameplay is top-notch. As for the CE content, the statues were larger than I thought they would be, but they look really nice. The infinity stones do look like plastic easter eggs, but when they're turned on they don't actually look half bad! The game comes in a steelbook and also includes the character pass.

I personally really enjoy this game. The graphics are not as bad as people complain about, the gameplay is smooth, and the story was surprisingly fun. The roster didn't bother me as much but I do miss Amaterasu and Wolverine. But having 3 reps from Mega Man X (X, Zero, and Sigma) really got me straight in the childhood!
As for the collectors edition, the 4 statues look amazing! The stones on the other hand... look more like Easter eggs that annoyingly glow. Still neat though just disappointing compared to what was advertised!

Look. YES, the game has a weak smaller roster than previous games. YES, it’s now 2v2 instead of 3v3. YES, the stones that came with the Collector’s Edition are cheap Easter eggs stuck in a lunch box. YES, the story is OKAY at best, horrible at worst.
BUT, in the Collector’s Edition, the 4 figures are AMAZING, and the ACTUAL FIGHTING in the game itself is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! This is the most fun I’ve had with a Capcom Fighter in YEARS!!!! This game is a MUST in my honest opinion.

This game really takes me back to the roots of this series. I love the the mechanics and constant action on the screen. The infinity stones also add a new layer of depth to the gameplay. There’s a handful of game modes to keep you entertained from an expansive story to arcade and mission modes for the single player, and you can always take the battle online with your friends.

All the complaints of character choices and certain models are valid, but it can't be denied the gameplay creativity is the highest in the series.
Everything just meshes so well from the tag system to the infinity stones.

My review on this item is one of a kind. It’s truly a remarkable setup and with the items that it comes with, it’s truly a one of a kind piece with the statues of iron man and others is totally a great piece of work. Also as well it comes with a one of a kind infinity set of six stones in a remarkable limited edition box

The game is great and has tremendous potential. The stones with this edition are definitely not what I expected after seeing pictures from Capcom. The statues are from triforce so you know you get quality.

I wanted this game last year, but not for the $200 price tag. I debated buying the statues separately, but I'm glad I held out as long as I did! The statues look great on my display, the game is fun, and the infinity stone light up display isn't as hideous as people make it seem. Four statues, the infinity stones, a steelbook, and all DLC for under $100 at the clearance price. So glad I bought it!

First, I returned my collector's edition when I found out about the infinity gems looking like Easter Eggs. Now I did purchase for my sister the limited edition and watched her play it and found it has strengths and weakness. I think one of the main gripes people have with the roster as with myself is that it's basically the same roster from MvC3!!! Come on Cashcom you can do better than this.
