Customers are enthusiastic about the POWERbot™ Wi-Fi Connected Robot Vacuum's cleaning performance and powerful suction, noting that it effectively cleans carpets and removes pet hair. Many appreciate its ease of use and relatively quiet operation, while the intelligent mapping feature is also praised for its effectiveness. However, some users point to shortcomings in battery life, navigation, and the small dustbin capacity, along with occasional app connectivity issues.

I’ve been using the POWERbot 7040 for about a week, it really does a great job picking up the hair of our two labs and a cat. I’m not sure how we lived without it. It has done a flawless job of mapping out our 2800sf 4 bed 3 bath house. When it rolls over the carpeted areas it increases the suction power automatically. When it runs out of battery power it always finds the charger and upon completion of charging picks up where it left off. It does it as many times as needed to complete the entire job. The 7040 model is quiet enough to run while watching TV or at night when sleeping. Absolutely an amazing addition to our home. I vacuumed with my upright after 3 days and was only able to produce about 1/8 of a canaster of dog hair and dirt, usually I empty at the minimum of 2 canisters every other day. I’m pretty sure people are tired of hearing me talk about how wonderful the 7040 model is and I’m certain two of my friend have already placed orders for theirs. I could in fact become a new or used vacuum cleaning sales man for Samsung.

Robotic vacuums have been around for many years now and each year they seem to get even closer to replacing the need to manually vacuum. The Samsung Powerbot R7040 is a long way towards that goal. It doesn’t require any special remote sensors or excessive rearrangement of a room to function, although a light pickup of items on the floor wouldn’t hurt. It has a cleaning roller that, although not self-cleaning, requires little cleaning. There are no regular maintenance parts to replace as the filter is washable. The one issue with maintenance is there are some rollers that don’t come apart that hair tends to get stuck in.
The Powerbot R7040 uses multiple sensors to navigate your house and has a base station to return to when it is time to charge. Vacuuming only has the options of S pattern or spot clean spiral. There is no option, at least at the time of the review, for a random pattern to help with your carpet getting matted. Where it stands out is with the included edge cleaner. When the it detects an edge, it can extend a brush to help get more out of the crease. This really helped in getting dust at the joint of the baseboard and floor.
It offers a remote like many others as well as app connectivity as more do but it also includes SmartThings and Alexa integration. Unfortunately, at the time of writing this review the instructions for connecting to SmartThings were incorrect as it instructs you to press a button on your remote which does not exist. Once this issue is corrected you should be able to leave your house and SmartThings will automatically tell the Powerbot to clean your house. Until then, you can just open the Smart Home app and say goodbye. Alexa integration instructions were not included but possible. Connecting to Alexa does not function through the app or any modern browser. In fact, the connection only worked when performed using the Alexa app website and Internet Explorer. The Samsung pairing website failed to function on other browsers tested including Edge and Chrome. This does not appear to be an isolated incident as the overall rating for the Smarthome App for Alexa is 2 stars with multiple complaints about pairing devices and browser support. Once connected to Alexa, you just tell it to turn on the Robot Vacuum and off it goes.
Strangely, when activating via Alexa the Powerbot only cleaned one room. Hopefully, with an automatic internet updates this could be corrected in a future update. In fact, some issues have already been resolved since the vacuum was first installed. Initially, the vacuum would only run for one single strip and the moment it tuned around the brushes would continue but the vacuum turned off. After leaving fully charged overnight to update, the next day the Powerbot got some smarts and could navigate and vacuum correctly. It has taken a lot of the day to day pickup out of the to-do list and is quiet enough to run while in the house. It is best to keep in mind that just like other robotic vacuums, there will be oddities of randomly missed spots and small amounts of debris sometimes missed. Typically, the next time the vacuum runs it seems to find those missed spots.
If you have black furniture or other black items you may run into some issues. Normally the Powerbot senses furniture and gently comes up and cleans near it without bumping it. In testing, it would come full speed to black furniture and ram into it. It also ran on top of a black floor scale and became stuck. This can be prevented in most cases by using the boundary marker that is unfortunately not included.
The Powerbot takes a lot of the small cleanup out of the daily routine. A standard vacuum would still be a good idea for periodic heavy cleanup. Although capable, the Powerbot doesn’t have the brush strength of suction power of a manual upright to get the deep cleaning. Even though it can automatically adjust suction power depending on surface it does not have a dirt sensor so generally expect a single pass over dirt no matter how thick. Using turbo mode can help pick up more but be prepared for it to spend more time charging than vacuuming. What it does do is allow you to extend the time between deep cleanings and enjoy an overall cleaner house day to day. This is especially helpful where small bits of dirt on a tile, laminate, or wood floor can make for an unpleased barefoot experience. It is also nice to see carpet less matted down between regular vacuuming.
Hopefully Samsung will leverage the automatic WiFi updates to further improve the intelligence of this smart vacuum in the future. If you are in the market for a relatively affordable smart vacuum and features such as SmartThings integration, low maintenance, and automatic cleaning based on what you do then this might be the one for you. Assuming Samsung continues improving the software, which they usually do, this rating could be a 4.5 stars considering the price versus features. Just be sure to give it a night or two on the charger to update before passing judgement as it seems the shipping software has some bugs but the updated software is much better.

I really love this vacuum. I was surprised it went over throw rugs and did not stop. It went under my bed where I really can't clean. I am older and find this a little miracle. I have thick wall to wall carpeting in the living room and bedrooms and it is terrific on that. On the floors it is good but not as good as the carpet. It really operates best by itself if you put it on auto clean. It knows to go back to its home which is a kick. I had no problem syncing it with the Galaxy S10 phone which was a real plus. In short, if an 81 yr old can operate this, anyone can.

I hesitated on the brand looking first at the original but then decided I liked the features on the Samsung. I also purchased one as a gift not knowing if it would even be something that they would like it, but they loved it! If you have a pet in doors then it is the perfect gift! I have a 6 month white highland terrier and while he isn’t supposed to shed the vacuum has proved him wrong, we run it every night and every morning it is parked back on the deck and full! So I have nothing bad to say excerpt wish I had purchased sooner!

The setup for the Samsung - POWERbot R7040 App-Controlled Self-Charging Robot Vacuum wasn’t challenging, but I did have to read the manual, since this is my first robot vacuum. There’s an emergency safety switch on the bottom of the robot vacuum that must be flipped, otherwise, the vacuum won’t charge. Everything comes pre-assembled and you only have three components to deal with, the robot vacuum itself (which just requires you to remove stickers and protective plastic), the robot vacuum charging station (which just requires connecting the charging cable), and an included remote control. AAA Batteries are included for the remote.
The three of the key features of this vacuum is the fact that it can connect to your WiFi network with the Samsung Smart Home App, that it can return to it’s charging station on it’s own, and that it can be scheduled to turn on and go on it’s pattern at the same time every day. I honestly didn’t think that it could return to its station, but I was gladly proven wrong. It’s amazing to see the little robot finish it’s job and store itself. Scheduling can be done with the remote control and powerbot. The one thing I counted on working was the App and unfortunately, that was a total let down.
The performance of this robot vacuum was great. The area that I placed it in is the carpeted room that gets the most traffic. The furniture in the area is tall and more than spacious for the robot to go under, which it did. Turned it on and let the vacuum to it’s thing while I got ready for the day. When I came downstairs, it had gotten stuck with an area rug’s fringes. The manual says that, if connected to the WiFi network, the app should tell me that is has gotten stuck with something. The app, though, is what ended up underperforming. After downloading the app, you are given option to add a new device. I went to the robot vacuum section and I was told to press a the clock button to turn the access point on the robot vacuum on (essentially, you are making your robot vacuum into a WiFi connection for your phone to communicate with it). I did that successfully. The next step is for the robot vacuum to identify your WiFi network and for you to enter your password alongside it. The first time, it wouldn’t recognize my home network but would pick up my neighbors. The problem with this is that I wasn’t given an option to choose networks, it automatically wanted me to connect to my neighbor’s WiFi. I had to close down the app and restart the process. The second time, it recognized my own home network. Though I was able to successfully connect the vacuum to my WiFi, on the last step, I got a connection failed message. I tried it again a third time and I got the same message. I couldn’t get it to successfully connect. The process is made more frustrating because it can you can’t go back a step on the app. If you have to retread one step, you have to actually close the app and reopen it and start from the beginning.
This powerbot vacuum meets my expectations but the companion app doesn’t. Since the companion app isn’t necessary for the vacuum to function, I only deducted one star, as most will probably ignore the app. The features that the app claim to provide, though, sound great, as receiving a notification when there’s a problem can have you take care of the situation before letting time pass by thinking everything is ok. The powerbot dust collecting bin isn’t large, so I would suggest that before the first use, run a full sized vacuum through the room. After that, you can schedule it to do little details daily and you won’t have to work about the bigger vacuum unless you have a giant mess to suddenly deal with.
The price for the soundbar in terms of value is slightly high, but worth the investment. I wouldn’t get rid of my stand-up vacuum since I have a two story home with multiple rooms that are carpeted. If I wanted to take advantage of the robot vacuum recharging itself, I would have to unplug the charging dock and install it in every single room one at a time. Nonetheless, if you have an area that receives the most foot traffic, then you would do yourself a favor and invest in this.
I highly recommend this product for people who may not have time to clean a frequented area often. The powerbot has a feature that easily takes care of cornered areas and it works as advertised. Scheduling can be down with the remote or the powerbot itself, so you can schedule the powerbot to clean while you are out. It’s not too loud, but you can hear it working, so I would not advise using this while nearby people are asleep. If you don’t plan on tinkering with the app, you are going to love this.

I have wanted a robotic vacuum for many years now -- ever since Roomba released their first vac. I just love the idea of having an automated system clean your house while you do something else. The problem I've had with this type of device is the cost. Some of them cost more than a professional-grade computer. So, I was thrilled when this one from Samsung became available. Not only is it a much more affordable price, but it's 'smart' and very easy to use.
Getting started with the vacuum is pretty easy. It comes pre-assembled with the exception of putting the batteries in the remote and unwrapping the power cables for the charging dock. I do advice any future users to read through the manual before getting started. It makes the process much easier. Can you 'feel' your way through it? Yes, but you will probably spend more time doing that then it takes to read through the instructions. That said, I wish the vacuum came with a quick start guide. It has a full manual that includes a lot of background and warning information that is good for reference, but not really necessary when you are trying to just get it started.
The first step in the process is to set-up the charging dock. This is simple as it just requires plugging the dock into power. There is an instruction that states it must be "turned on at all times." This step can be confusing because on my model (the 7040) there is no power button. The manual is meant for more than just my model so I wonder if maybe that instruction was meant for other models. It's a good idea to install the dock on a level surface so that the vacuum can latch onto it easily. After you get the dock plugged in and powered on, you should add the batteries (included) to the remote and then place the vacuum on the dock. When you first unbox it, there may be some charge to it, but I would recommend letting it get a full charge before you try to use it. This could take up to 3 hours, but it's well-worth the wait.
There is a manual power switch on the bottom of the vacuum that much be turned on in order to use or charge the vacuum. It's an 'emergency' switch that I'm guessing is a kill switch in case the vacuum gets out of hand when it's cleaning. This switch is hidden behind a semi-transparent covering. If you refer to the diagram in the manual, it does show you just where to look for it. Once the vacuum is done charging the word "FULL" will appear in the display on the unit.
Now, you can use the Powerbot without connecting it to your smartphone, but that's really part of its charm. This is really the only place where I encountered a major problem with the vacuum. It wouldn't show up as a network for me to connect to it. After about 10-15 minutes of attempts to connect to our home WiFi, I was finally able to have a signal to the vacuum. We have a mesh network in our home so it has a strong signal everywhere it moves throughout the house.
Along these lines, I need to mention how incredibly bad the app for the vacuum is. While I was setting it up, it crashed on me more than 4 times and it really set me back on the set up process. One time I was nearly done and it crashed forcing me to start at the beginning again. I've heard that many other people have had the same issues. If the app gets its bugs worked out it might be really nice to use, but until it does, it's unusable. Please remember the vacuum is wonderfully built and works great. It's the app that needs a bunch of work. If the vacuum didn't have a manual remote it would not be useable.
There are some vacuums that you have to 'train' before getting started, but the Powerbot has a great edge-sensing feature that causes it to autocorrect anytime it finds a border. This is pretty cool because it means you can say, "Go," and it cleans without needing direction. The only downside to this is that the vac can get caught places or it misses areas because it hits a piece of furniture and thinks it's a wall. We ran into this a few times, but for the most part, the Powerbot does a great job making it through the entire house. It's powerful enough on the standard setting that we haven't even had to use the 'turbo' setting yet. It picks up plenty of dirt, dust, pet dander, and hair during its trip throughout the house.
Cleaning out the collection bin is very easy as is clearing the rotating brush. I empty the bin after every trip through the house and clear the brush every 3-4 days. I have been very happy with the vacuum's performance and even though we still use a standard vacuum a couple times a week (we are more accurate than the Powerbot) but I love being able to have this little guy run through the house every night to pick up the day's dirt. I can definitely recommend this for anyone in the market for a robotic vacuum.

This is my first robotic vacuum, its a bit larger than I originally imagined but its pretty powerful. Its very easy to set up. I had it connected to my WiFi, my phone, and programmed in no time at all. The first time I got to see it in action was when my 16 month old son was curious pushing buttons and it started a cleaning cycle. It shocked both of us but I let it run to see how well it performed. It was great! Given the fact that my little one leaves crumbs everywhere Its nice to have the ability to just turn on the Powerbot and walk away. It has several modes one of which will vacuum an area until the battery is low and return to home (perfect). It also has a remote that can be used to direct in different directions to clean specific areas. The Powerbot has to suction settings basically a normal and a high settings. I have just used it on the high setting which is just slightly louder than the normal. I estimate that my Powerbot runs at least 30mins prior to returning to the home station to charge. Pretty happy with this buy so far! Thank you Insiders and Samsung for the opportunity to test and review the POWERbot!

Samsung Powerbot Nice to HAVE

I've never owned one of these before but was excited to get one. This has been pretty nice to have around the house just to clean up the floors. I do have hard wood and carpet in my house this this worked great on both. I do vacuum a couple time a week and have a good vacuum cleaner but this still picked up a good bit of stuff. This does have a stair sensor so it will not fall down them in the manual it shows that you need to put tab down to indicate the stairs well in this one you don't have to. You can hear the suction change from the hardwood to carpet so you know the sensors are picking up the change in floor type. I do recommend downloading the Samsung Home app to control the Powerbot it makes programming easy and you can control it from you phone. You can choose 4 types of cleaning Auto Clean, Spot Clean, Manual Clean and Repeat Clean those are nice to have. The wheels on this are big so it does move good if you have thick carpet. I think this is nice to have to just run daily to clean up but you still might have to run your vacuum once in a while just to have a good pick up. It is very easy to clean and empty out that waste. You can change the type of power you want to run on it. The display face is very easy to read and understand. it is WIFI that is nice for the app.
Now i did have some issue's with this it did get stuck on some items in the house in a tight space it was able to get into but just couldn't find it's way out of. It didn't always make it back to the home charging station i found it in other rooms out of power. It will get a error and stop if it gets stuck on something like the bed skirt it did once.
Now this does have a lot of power behind it i found my dining room chairs that are on hardwood floors to be moved around and loose carpets on other surfaces got pushed.
Overall i think this is a good product i have not tried out any others but i do like it and find it convenient to own.
Great power

The vacuum works well and cleans in straight lines rather than the random pattern of most. It does have a critical design flaw though. The brush guard which holds the brush in place has plastic tabs which rub against the spinning brush and wear down after a few cycles. After these wear to a certain point, the brush is free to slide back and forth a little and it causes the vacuum to shake uncontrollably. I replaced the brush guard ($20) and it worked for a few weeks, but now it's inoperable again. Save your money for a future version which uses better materials for parts that are spinning against each other.

Overall this is a pretty decent robot vacuum and the first one I've owned. The suction power is quite impressive on this and its versatility to cover the floor as it moves around objects. The setup was super easy for basic cleaning after a quick charge although becomes a bit more complicated on scheduling. Either our cleaners aren't doing a good job (which I think they are) or this thing is even cooler then they advertise. As you can see in one of the pics, the bin was almost full after a session 1 day after the cleaners were here. Also, if you like vacuum lines to make the carpet look clean this thing will impress you as when placing it on shorter carpet you can sure tell how it creates straight lines and doesn't miss a spot.
Pros:
*Easy to setup
*Excellent suction power
*Notifications on phone if it is stuck, jammed, etc are useful
*Much quieter then a normal vacuum *Gets in places you generally don't (under bookcases, beds, tables, etc). The one attached picture of a fairly full dust bin is the day after our house cleaners were here and you can see how much it accumulated still.
Cons:
* Dust bin gets full rather quickly
*Struggles over some rugs especially thicker shag rugs
* For larger homes, you'll need to manually place it in rooms after charging as it won't last long enough to cover a big multi room layout.

Roomba vs Powerbot: I choose the Powerbot

The Samsung Powerbot R7040 is one of the greatest and smartest vacuum available today! It is a bagless, cyclone vacuum that uses visual mapping to allow it to figure out the most efficient cleaning route to minimize cleaning time and maximize battery life. I like the fact that it doesn't bump around into objects blindly like the Roomba vacuum does. The vacuum has a lot of features as well. There is auto mode, which will tell the vacuum to clean with the push of a button. There is also spot cleaning mode, where you can point at a particular spot that is dirty for the vacuum to clean. You can also manually move the vacuum with the remote or your phone. It isn't necessary for the vacuum to connect to wifi to work, however once connected you can control your vacuum from anywhere at any time and also see updates that the vacuum is cleaning or charging. I was also able to connect the Powerbot to Alexa to command the vacuum to clean with my voice! There is also the floor plan capabilities to tell the vacuum to clean certain rooms. The noise level is soft compared to a normal vacuum. I am still able to hear my tv and talk to other people while the vacuum is cleaning. Sometimes, I even forgot the vacuum was doing its thing while watching netflix. You can also turn off the turbo mode if you want the vacuum to be even less noisy. The vacuum even changes suction power when cleaning a carpet as opposed to a hardwood floor! It's amazing how smart it is! The vacuum is extremely powerful for its small size. It pushed chairs aside and even chargers cords on my outlets to get to all the corners of the room. Every inch was clean with the edge clean master. The Powerbot goes up to the corner and the brush comes out to scrape things from the edges. It's really cool when you get down to the ground and take a look at what it's doing. Surprisingly it didn't knock over anything (almost knocked over my guitar stand) or didn't suck up any cords or wires. The Powerbot also returns back to the charger when running low on battery. You can also manually press the energy mode to return it home to the charger. The vacuum cleans for a good half hour to an hour before returning back. The suction power is amazing! It picked up dirt, dust, hair, salt, fruity pebbles, uncooked rice, literally everything on the floor. All in all, the Powerbot R7040 did the job well for me for our small apartment.

I have tested this unit on 3 different floors for over 2 weeks now. I am not quite impressed with this. I expected more from my favorite brand “Samsung”.
First Impression:
Well made , does not look cheap, light weight, easy to understand operating manual, Cheap looking remote control unit.
What is Good about it
The little unit has a powerful but quite motor. When it does work, it has a good suction power. Home buttons are quite convenient, responsive and easy to operate. User manual is detailed, easy to understand. Base unit is well made too and easy to install. On a carpeted floor, it does an excellent job rivaling a much bigger Dyson unit. Connecting it to the wifi and app is quite easy. Cleaning the dustbin, roller brush and filters was easier than expected.
What is Not So Good about it;\
The whole idea of a robotic vacuum cleaner is to save time and effort. However, this unit requires much more attention compared to a similar product. Also, it failed to clean corners and really struggled on a area rug. Could not transit from wooden floor to area rug or back from rug to wooden floor. While it cleaned a square / rectangle room perfectly, it failed to clean the corners of a hallway.
Connecting to a wifi and "samrt things" app is easy but maintaining the connection is another story. My unit kept disconnecting from the app. The unit shows up on my wifi router's log but does not show up on app. The small size of the dustbin demands constant attention especially on a carpeted floor. It fills up quickly reducing the efficiency if not emptied. Would I recommend it to a friend Yes and NO. It depends on the individual. It is worth if the need is limited to particular areas without any floor transition and requires constant cleaning. Bottom Line: I would not consider this unit as my primary vacuum. It is good as a secondary vacuum for restricted use. However, at this price point I would think twice if I have to pay the full price. Hopefully, Samsung will address these issues and come up with a better unit that is reliable and efficient.. Finally, all robotic vacuum cleaners today require the floor to be clear of small objects. If you have a toddler at home, you will end up spending more time to keep the floor clear off all the toys / tiny objects.

I've been wanting to get a robot vacuum since they first came out. My parents have had one for years because my mom suffers from some chronic illnesses that making cleaning painful and difficult. I finally decided to give one a try myself. I was actually quite skeptical, because my parents have hard flooring, and I have wall-to-wall carpeting. I wasn't 100% sure something so small and compact would be effective on my carpeting, especially because I have a long-haired cat and an even longer-haired girlfriend. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was not only up to the task, it worked like a charm. The reservoir filled up almost completely the first time I used it. I was truly shocked to see how much dirt it was able to pick up. I also love the fact that I can turn the suction on high (which cleans my carpet deeper but obviously depletes the battery faster) and when the battery runs out, it docks, recharges, and then somehow picks up where it left off. I really don't understand how this thing is as smart as it is, but I think I'm going to try some one-liners out on it and see how it responds. Another cool smart feature is that I can get notifications on my Samsung smart TV if the vacuum is having any sort of problems, or if it is returning to the charging station. If this is what having housekeepers feels like, I have been truly missing out my entire adult life. The edge suction is an excellent feature as well. When it detects a wall, it kicks the suction up a notch to clean the corner where the wall meets the floor. If you are worried about pets, Murphy and my POWERbot have actually become good friends. I'd be kind of jealous if it wasn't so darn cute. The video I provided is not an accurate account of the sound output, because it is actually extremely quite. You can watch TV while it is vacuuming and you won't even have to turn the volume up. I am glad I finally got one of these buggers. Murphy and I are very happy to make it a part of the family.

This works well but we are still trying to figure it out. We set it to clean and it started moving around and vacuuming and seems to be mapping the area. It definitely has good suction because I had vacuumed earlier today and this thing is already filling up! Has a runtime of about 60 minutes and I think that is accurate. It is y’all enough it does not fit under my couches but it does fit under the edge of my cabinets. At first it seemed to have a hard time with my textured/patterned carpet but it figured it out after a few times turning in circles. It isn’t very noisy, I can hear it but it is significantly quieter than my normal vacuum for sure. It has a sleek design and I like that is has a docking station that it will go back to when it is dying. We have a mix of hard floor and carpet and it was able to navigate the transitions without issue and cleaned the hard floor effectively as well. It does have an app you can use with it that we are still working on figuring out. I think this will help keep things a bit tidier around here and decrease our workload which is a good thing. I would recommend.

I gave this little guy 5 stars but it deserves five more. I am very impressed with everything about it. The product is very easy to use right out of the box. For the more tech savvy, the app Samsung Smart Home (I have a Samsung phone but choose to download it from the Google play store) could be described as cumbersome. However, once installed you can program times to run the vacuum or operate it manually (the remote will allow for manual control as well). Again, I was surprised at how precise the sensors allow the device to operate. The suction is strong and handles everyday "Keeping clean" needs. I would not recommend for pets (we have two dogs and probably not ideal for this unit) because we have to make a valiant effort to keep the hair to a minimum and out of the brushes. Cleaning out the unit is a breeze though. Overall, it is a fun product that provides a clean home and is super entertaining to watch run around.

After using one of the most popular robot vacuums for over a year. I wasn't expecting much of a difference with the Samsung Powerbot R7040. Boy, was I wrong. Not only has samsung made a robot vacuum that works they made it better than I ever could have dreamed. The Samsung Powerbot R7040 Robot Vacuum is unlike any other robot vacuum on the market, it is highly intelligent and very easy to use. The Powerbot makes it so easy to set up and use. You can set it up and connect it to your SmartThings app via wifi and program and schedule your cleaning routines or you can just use it with no wifi and program the powerbot via it's included remote control. If you use the SmartThings app it will let you know if an issue arrises with your powerbot. Another benefit is you can use Amazon’s Alexa to activate vacuuming with the sound of your voice. The R7040 is unlike other brands when it comes to cleaning because it is 20x more powerful and includes an auto shutter tool that actually will pull in dirt that it may not normally reach. Even with all this power the Samsung is so much quieter than the round vacuum I own. The Powerbot also doesn’t bump and tap furniture like the other brands, instead it has an onboard camera and sensors that actually map out the area and will help it to determine the best way to clean. Cleaning the Powerbot is very simple as the dirt chamber is located on the top of the machine and can be removed with the simple press of a button. Samsung has outdone itself with the Powerbot everything from the packaging to the build quality of the R7040 is first class and head and shoulders above the other brands on the market. I love the Samsung Powerbot and have replaced my old round robot vaccum with the R7040 and recommend anyone with a round vaccum to do the same, you won’t be disappointed, you’ll just be asking yourself why you didn’t do it sooner.
