I love this vacuum, it does everything I need it to do. It has lights so you can see what you’re vacuuming, it has the different floor options so you can go from the carpet to the hardwood with ease. It’s a little heavier then other vacuums I have had but as I use it I got use to it. I love the ability to take off certain pieces to clean it and make sure your brushes are always clean and if anything gets stuck you can pop off the cover and get it out super easy. I have tile, high pile carpet and low pile carpet so this vacuum has made it easy to clean up messes or just cleaning with ease, the cord is really long which I like because we have a bigger home, the container is smaller so it fills up faster but it doesn’t bother me. Im super happy with this purchase.

I have owned a few vacs including the ones with the washer. I borrowed and have used a few good ones and wow, this was amazing to the touch, no sweat transitioning and literally cleaned the entire area rug, 8X7 in less than 3 minutes. The rug was filthy full of rabbit and dog hair and of course, dust and all sort of broken toys. Big to small debris and man, i just love the thing. I also used the upholstery’s accessory As well as the crevice and pet thingy. Totally Impressed by this beautiful creation of Shark. Worth the price. The only battle will be how long this thing will last. I will give update later

Needed a corded vacuum to replace a worn out Dyson and wanted to try out this Shark since I already have one of their cordless options. We have multiple vacuums from Dyson, Hoover, Shark and even an old Filter Queen to test this against. This one came very easy to assemble, just snap the head onto the main tube, set it upright, and slide the housing down on it until it clicks. Attach the hose to the main body and the handle to the main tube and you are pretty much done. There are hooks for winding the cord and it’s really long, a good bit longer than the one on either of the Dysons we have. There is also a powered mini brush that you can store on one of the attachment points on the main body, it even locks in place so it won’t fall off, and another attachment point on the other side to place one other attachment of your choosing “she wanted the crevice tool there”. There’s also a dusting brush and a brush/upholstery tool included, pretty much all the tools you really need to do a thorough cleaning. This vacuum is full sized, nothing really compact about it, and it’s pretty heavy, very heavy according to my wife and quite a bit heavier than the Dyson she liked using the most. I wanted her to give this a good try out since she’s used to that corded Dyson. Her first comment was the weight, but that quickly went away once she started using it as was extremely impressed with the amount of suction this thing has. The only other vacuum in the house even close to the amount of suction this thing has it my ShopVac in the garage, just an amazing amount of suction from this upright. The other surprising thing about it is, while having that kind of suction it’s quite a bit quieter than the other uprights we have and just as quiet as our larger stick type vacuums. There are three suction/power levels you can adjust, from bare floor, low pile, and thick pile carpet. Changing these around changes the brush speed and suction. There’s also an anti-hair device in this, it keeps hair from winding around the brush roll. I was skeptical at first but was amazed as there wasn’t any hair wrapped around the main roller. My wife has very long hair and after vacuuming I can always find a few strands wrapped around the rollers of our other vacuums, not a single one with this Shark, I was very impressed with that. Shark engineers finally put some decent headlights on this model, like our Shark cordless, and it’s a feature my wife didn’t realize was so nice to have until she started using it. She was also surprised that the handle, once you detach it, to use the hand tools, also has a single led light that lights up the area you are working on, just an excellent idea. My wife really likes having the ability to detach the main housing, “motor/dustbin”, from the handle and use it like you would a canister vac, “just no wheels”. This makes it very easy to carry around the body while sweeping under beds and furniture. She also used that along with the powered pet head to clean stairs. She was also impressed with the ease of cleaning the filters, nothing to twist, pull or uncover to get to the main ones. Just lift off the dust bin as you would when you empty it and there they sit right in the bottom of the main motor housing. Grab the plastic end that’s sticking up, lift, and the main filter comes right out. There’s a secondary filter pad underneath that with a nice tab for lifting it out. Then either go out and knock the dust out of them, or better yet, wash them out and let them dry overnight before putting back. The HEPA final filter is behind a cover on the front of the main body, just remove it and that filter lifts right out. Very simple filter maintenance, and you can find replacement filters very cheaply if you want to replace often. Before our first run with this I had vacuumed up a large 6x8' throw rug we have in our living room with our Dyson cordless. It’s very low pile and that Dyson always does a good job of getting the dog hair out of it. I went over it a few times, very carefully making sure I went over everything. We proceeded to run the Shark over it next, setting it on low pile. We both noticed how quiet the unit is even compared to the cordless Dyson. After going over the same area we pulled off the dust bin and were pretty amazed that it had a good handful of dog hair and a lot of very fine dust in it. The power of the unit and the extra suction really pulled the dirt out from even that low pile that should have been pretty clean already. So if you are looking for replacing your worn out vac, or just want something new with a lot of power this may be one to consider, the amount of suction it produces is pretty amazing and earns a 5 star easily.

This is a great vacuum. A lot of my comparisons will be based against our Dyson that served us faithfully for the last 10 years. I will list pros and cons below. Pros: The headlights on both the main unit and the wand make the whole process much better. They are great for seeing things on the floor that you miss without them. As you can see from the attached photo the amount of hair and dirt in the bag is what I got out of the Shark immediately after I had vacuumed the same area with our Dyson. I was quite amazed at the amount of hair etc. the Dyson had missed. The Zero M process, however it works is great. I have vacuumed our whole house twice and there is virtually no hair buildup on the brush roller. It does almost seem to be almost self-propelled when vacuuming on carpet. We used the appliance tool to clean under our refrigerator and stove and I was quite embarrassed at how much was under them. The powered liftaway feature is great for doing things like stairs and along walls and ceilings. The powered pet hair tool works great and when you attach it to the wand it automatically turns on the headlight on the handle which is very handy. It is much quieter than our old Dyson as well. The onboard tool storage is very nice and easy to use. The shape of the brush head makes it easier to get close to walls and under things compared to our Dyson. Works very well for edge cleaning. Very easy to assemble and was using it 5 minutes after it came out of the box. Cons: The dust cup seems to be smaller than our Dyson was and is not as easy to empty It seems to be a little heavier to move around. Steering it does take a little getting used to. The more I use it the easier it is getting to be. The cord guide that you put the cord in on the side does not hold the cord very well. Overall I am very satisfied with the operation of this vacuum and would recommend it to friends. Seems to be well built and if it lasts as long as our Dyson did I will be very happy.

This thing is great. Replaced my worn out vacuum with this one. I found an attachment so I could vacuum my ceiling fan blades and other flat surfaces. My only complaint I wish it came with this attachment for dusting.

I had never used a Shark Vacuum before owning a ION cordless model, I had strictly stuck to Dyson in the past. Quickly it became my go to vacuum because of the ease and accessibility to just pick it up and start vacuuming. Fast forward two years later and now we have the Shark Apex DuoClean. This vacuum is a well thought piece of machinery. I feel like Shark really took their time with the design of this product. Everything makes sense from a user standpoint, it's easy to use and effective at getting the job done for multiple tasks. The vacuum itself is meant to be used in 2 different modes. Standard vacuuming: Which is just your normal vacuuming mode. It has three levels for Hard Tile, Carpet, and Area Rugs. The standard vacuuming works great and Shark has come up with a new Zero M technology that blocks hair from being wrapped around the roller. I found that was one of the only flaws with past models but it seems to be solved with this one. Overall it does a great job of leaving nothing behind. The only real gripe I have with the unit itself is the weight. It's probably one of the heavier vacuums I've ever used. It doesn't take away from its functionality but when its fully assembled this thing is a beast. Detached Mode: This is for getting to those hard to reach places under the couch with the detached roller. Also the top of the roller separates and allows you to use other attachments. Which brings me to my favorite part of the vacuum the motorized pet attachment. This thing is a blessing from Jesus himself if you own dogs. I have a black and a brown dog and they shed like crazy. The attachment gets all the hair up in seconds off my bed sheets and couch. The brush will even pull hair stuck deep in couches. It is by far my favorite attachment in a vacuum ever. The wand itself even has a light on the end of it which is a nice touch. All in all I feel like Shark did a tremendous job with this vacuum. While it is a bit hefty in the weight department it doesn't take away from the fact that its a well designed and well thought out product. I would whole heartedly recommend this vacuum to anyone.

I’m impressed with this vacuum. It’s Shark’s current top of the line upright, and I found it easy to assemble, easy to use, and it cleans exceptionally well. The unit is very well packed with very little non-recyclable materials. As a test, I decided to assemble it without referring to the instructions. There are just a few major sections that lock together, and no tools are needed … powerhead, main upright tube (the only metal part), hose with handle, and the power canister with bagless dirt bin. I had no trouble with assembly. Construction is solid and the fit and finish are very good. I love the fact that they provide a full 30-foot power cord. There are some new features on this vacuum. First there it has two rotating bushes in the power head. In front is a comparatively soft full bush and behind that is a more typical beater bush. The second new feature is what they call “Zero-M” which is to prevent hair from winding on the roller. The “lift away” feature which allows the canister section to be removed and used as a standalone canister vac has been around for a while. Canister accessories include a powered brush, crevice tool, dust/furniture brush, and a dusting wand thingy that actually works. In use it’s great. The power button and floor type setting are on the handle under your thumb. It has settings for hard surface, low pile carpet, and high pile carpet. Both the bush speed and suction change with these settings. The leading soft brush pulls loose junk in without fail or scatter, and it does a great job cleaning and dusting hard floors. It left my wood floors dust free with almost a polished look. On carpet, it gets most dirt on the first pass. On the low pile setting, I think it would suck the spots off a Dalmatian. For the power and width, it’s not overly heavy and maneuvers easily with its swivel head. My only complaint is typical of “lift away” type vacuums. They do work as a canister, but the hose is a bit short and stiff making it somewhat awkward. A nice plus with this unit is that there is a LED light built into the handle that turns on in this mode and lights up what you’re trying to clean. I decided to give this Shark the acid test and clean my wife’s quilting room. We purposely left more sewing debris than normal to see how it handles larger scraps and if Zero-M could deal with thread without needing to cut it off the roller like ever other upright we’ve used. The pictures show it passed with flying colors. My wife was impressed. My conclusion is all positive. It did everything very well and some things other vacuums couldn’t. We have a smaller Shark Navigator vac which has been good, but it has now been replaced.

Excitement typically doesn't come from house cleaning tools, but I was immediately impressed with this Shark Vacuum.  Though my previous Vacuum (the Bissell 9595A) has literally 12,000+ positive reviews, I instantly noticed the superior quality & function of the Shark. My Bissell is clearly intended to be more of a budget vacuum, but comparing it to the Shark I can now say with confidence that spending the extra money to get a more refined and feature rich vacuum is definitely worth it.  I vacuumed our loft with the Bissell and then went over the same area with the Shark and was blown away that the entire tank was quickly filled with all that the Bissell had missed. Look past the gimmicky presentation of the Shark because every feature works very well.  It maintains strong suction, has intuitive controls that are right on the handle, and each attachment actually works.  The vacuum is easy to use in the upright fashion and can also be used with the mechanical head attached to the hose while you carry the canister in hand (which helps a great deal with cleaning stairs).  It is also designed to come apart so removing clogs or replacing parts is a breeze. The vacuum does weigh just over 16 lbs. and does feel rather heavy. And, because the head is designed to pivot, it constantly feels as though the vacuum is trying to tip to one side.  The Shark has 3 filters which work quite well, but it does appear that they will eventually need to be replaced.  The user manual makes no mention of replacement - instead stating that each can each be washed. But, replacements will surely be needed as the Shark website sells the Foam & Felt Filter Kit for $15.95 and the HEPA filter for $19.95. I definitely recommend this Shark and have no doubt that it will be in our house for 10+ years. Replacement Info: Foam & Felt Filter = Model# XFF650 HEPA Filter = Model# XHF650 Front Soft Brush-roller = Model# 1173FT950 PROS: + Sturdy build quality + Includes a 5 year warranty + Strong suction that continues even when the canister is full + The Dual Roller system works well and does a good job of reducing the tangles from hair & string + LED lights on the handle which are quite helpful when using hand-held attachments + LED lights on the base of the vacuum are bright & functional + All grips are covered with rubber + Power button and carpet length options are easy to access as they are on the handle + 3 Filters work well in removing smells and more particulates than a HEPA filter alone + The vacuum is designed to be able to come apart / open easily.  This makes it much easier to remove clogs, or to clean / replace the rollers, etc. + Plenty of cord length + Can be used in the standard upright mode and then the vacuum head can also be attached to the end of the hose providing a greater reach. + The pet hair hand tool (that attaches to the hose) is actually motorized (and is not only powered by suction). + Canister is easy to release from the base of the vacuum and is easy to empty + The base of the vacuum sits perfectly on stairs (see attached picture) + Slightly quieter than the average vacuum Cons: - Dust canister is quite small and needs to be emptied frequently - Because the canister is plastic, static causes dirt to cling to the front window making the vacuum look dirty. - Motorized Pet Multi-tool does not have the same "Zero-M" feature that reduces hair from wrapping around the roller.  (This attachment sells for $59.99!  At such a high price, I would expect the same roller technology as the vaccuum.) - Vacuum is 16 lbs. and feels heavy - The wheels are plastic which makes the vacuum sound cheap when being used on hard floors. - The base of the vacuum is designed to pivot easily (which is nice in theory), but this makes it feel as though the front constantly wants to tip to one side or the other. - Attachments & replacement parts are expensive  - The vacuum only stores 2 attachments onboard, but comes with 4.

Shark from what I have heard was high quality and it’s somewhat priced as so. But I’m a firm believer that we get what we pay for. This is definitely high quality and the suction is great. Hard to say how perfect it is or cook be as my carpet is well over 11 yrs old and I have 2 young children. Even with the age. This shark apex sucks up left over hair and dirt that my old cheapo vacuum left. If you case about looks, this machine is definitely beautifully designed. Added L.E.D guide lights on both the floor and hand wand are great. And useful for me at least. The extras matter to me. The hand wand was used for my microsuade couches. Works well. But it’s not the top I tried to clean. It was underneath. The one thing that may bother some is the weight. While I’m a gym goer and strong it’s a weighty vacuum. I can see a few people might think it’s heavy. I don’t personally but I get it. On the other hand. U feel like it’s so solid and well built. That’s the reason for it. Quality or quantity. IMO. I say give it a shot for sure. You won’t regret it as an overall package. Good luck and happy shopping!

    Great Vacuum Great Suction!

This is a great vacuum! This is my first experience with Shark, and it likely won't be my last. My house is primarily laminate flooring with a few area rugs. The DUO clean head on this vacuum does a fantastic job of cleaning and "buffing" the floor. The appear cleaner after using this vacuum than other laminate floor mops I've used in the past. hard to imagine a vacuum could do this type of cleaning to hardwood/laminate, but it does. The suction of this vacuum is also very impressive. This begins to lift up my dogs hair clumps from a few inches away, before the hose reached the actual area. I haven't had to clean out the brush yet with the few times I've vacuumed. This is a huge plus. Shark advertises "self unclogging" of hair and from what I can tell, this is valid! Smaller rugs, like in the bathroom, or runners are impossible to vacuum with this though. The suction and brush is so strong it sucks up the entire rug. I could not find a lesser setting to make this work. Ultimately shaking these our or throwing them in the wash is my method of cleaning these, not a huge drawback, but I wish there was a way to actually lessen the suction as needed. There are lights on the handles, so if vacuuming in darker rooms this make finding power and other settings a lot easier. The power plug is extremely long and sufficient for vacuuming stairs or other rooms without having to unplug too often. The vacuum is a little tight on maneuvering. The swivel of the head does not "turn" as much as I would like a vacuum of this caliper to do. It gets the job done, but I often move back and forth to get additional spots vs simply tilting more. Another minor annoyance that doesn't overly impact the function. The attachments are also very nice. There is a "duster" type attachment that when removing the wand from the main base, makes for a great way to clean ceiling fans and upper vents. The "pet" attachment is also excellent. It makes cleaning furniture and stairs very easy. It provides great brushing ability which far exceeded my experience with similar attachments on other vacuums in the past. The main canister is very easy to remove to empty the mess this has picked up. The filters do a great job of keeping everything you suck up inside the vacuum. Overall this vacuum is not overly loud. I would not call it "quiet" but I wouldn't expect many vacuums, especially with this type of suction to ever be "quiet". This vacuum is also relatively heavy in perspective to vacuums. Carrying up the stairs and even pushing it around, this thing has some weight to it. It is not a simple vacuum to just grab quickly for simple messes in the kitchen, or a quick use to get up a single fur ball from the dog. I feel that I have to intentionally want to vacuum before I actually decide to turn this on. I prefer a smaller, quicker handheld for those situations and reserve this for the more major jobs. Especially the though of taking this outside to vacuum the car seems daunting. Overall this is a workhorse vacuum for anyone who desires a serious beast of a machine. I would recommend pairing this with a smaller, lighter, "quick" appliance to really get the whole house, every need check box checked. If you only have one vacuum though, this will perform the job nicely and you will have a much cleaner house because of it.

I owned another Shark vacuum that did a pretty good job and it had duo clean as well. This Apex blows it out of the water! First, putting it together was a breeze and did not require any tools! Four simple steps. This machine is much heftier than my other Shark with a HUGE dirt receptacle. And I do mean huge! First, I vacuumed my house. We have mostly tile floors and we live in the country with dogs, people and dirt. Lots of dirt, especially fine clay. I really hate the dirt and my first Shark has been the only thing that helped me keep it semi-clean. Floor vacuuming with the Apex actually lifted up ALL of the dirt, dog hair, people hair, onion skins, scrap paper, leaves and grass! (I picked a day after we had been working on the ranch). No problem. In fact, it was nearly as clean as if I had mopped it. Converting to a wand to reach the ceiling is NO problem and the Powered LIft-Away comes in handy when doing stairs--- it basically means that you can lift off the large canister, making it more like an old style canister vac. This version came with the mini-motorized pet brush, crevice tool, pet multi-tool, anti-allergen dust brush and onboard motorized pet tool. There is storage at the back for the crevice tool and the motorized onboard pet tool. My white terrier loves leaving hair on my brown recliner, but now I have a weapon! Also, there are little 'extras' on this machine, like where the hose attaches to the back of the machine when it's in upright vac mode just kind of snaps in, and the cord can latch into the cord wrap area so that it doesn't get sucked in. My one word of caution is to take the dirt cup OUTSIDE to empty it into the trash.... this baby really picks up fine particles and you don't want to get them all over the house!

This vacuum completely took me by surprise. I had a Shark already, but a cheaper one. I decided to spend the money on this upgrade in hopes that it would be worth it. It absolutely was! This vacuum has some incredible suction power. I have two blue heelers that stay in the house. My other Shark didn't pull up NEAR the hair that this one does. I was beyond amazed. I have had this vacuum about two months now. There is no tangling of hair underneath at all. It is a little heavy, but not much more than my old Shark. Things I really love about this vacuum: it is able to snap apart for vacuuming in tight places, the cord is really long, the light is amazing and transfers to the pieces that snap off for vacuuming in tight areas, and it has features that are not only easy to use, but easy to access. If I could change one thing, it would be to have better space on the vacuum itself to attach the attachments. Otherwise, this vacuum was totally worth the money!

It was very easy to put together. In a matter of minutes it was ready to use. At first it felt heavy, but it’s not too bad after it’s assembled. I’m very pleased that this vacuum offers three different settings: hardwood, carpet/low pile and thick carpet/area rug. I was able to put this to the test in my first use. I have hardwood floors downstairs, carpet stairs and low pile carpet upstairs. The floor setting did a great job picking up loose material and dust. It was fast and I was able to see the dust get sucked in. The area rug setting performed well, but I did have to go back and forth a few times to really pick up the heavier items. I’m pleased though that it didn’t tear up the area rug on a setting like this. The carpet setting performed well. I regret not taking before and after photos, but it did what it’s supposed to do. I really enjoy a bagless vacuum. I don’t know how many others will feel this way but a bagless vacuum gives the reassurance and shows how much actually gets picked up. It can be gross, but it’s pleasing to know how efficient it was. The top portion detaches which makes it convenient for stairs. Simply use the proper attachment and the stairs are no longer intimidating to clean. I haven’t yet used the upholstery head, but I look forward to using that soon. Pros: Durable Sturdy Great power Hardwood floor setting Carpet/Low pile carpet setting Thick carpet/Area rug setting Does a great job Easy turning and maneuverability Smaller than I thought it’d be Cons: Not the quietest vacuum, however I’ll take the power of this any day. The piece the power cord wraps around kept getting caught on pant pockets. This isn’t a big deal, but it happened about eight times. And no, this hasn’t happened with other vacuums. Final Thoughts: I highly recommend this vacuum. Although it requires a little muscle, it does an outstanding job. The three settings and multiple attachments show how this unit can handle every inch of the house.

I’m the type of consumer that will scour reviews, ratings and deals for weeks and months before committing to a purchase. I was set on purchasing a Dyson after reading such glowing reviews. I set out to purchase one but after checking it out in person, I thought it looked and felt flimsy. My search for a vacuum continued. After seeing Shark vacuums score highly in reviews and priced comparably or better than Dysons, I wondered if this were too good to be true. I did more research and found this vacuum’s versatility to be very appealing, so I took the plunge and made the purchase - and I’m sure glad I did. Assembly is extremely easy and can be set up in minutes. The vacuum feels sturdy and well made and every secures together with just a few snaps. I like the fact that it can stand upright on its own, and the lights are pretty nifty too. After using it In my two bedroom apartment I can honestly say this is the most clean my floors have ever been. I’ve got a mix of linoleum, wood and low, mid and high pile carpets in my apartment and it handled every surface exceptionally. It’s true that it does leave a “polished” look and feel on the wood floors. I did the barefoot test afterwards and felt no need to whip out the Swiffer, maybe save for some wall edges/tight corners. I used to hate sweeping because of all the dust that would get kicked up - my lungs wouldn’t feel normal for maybe an hour after cleaning. Not with this vacuum. The air in every room already smells cleaner. The unit runs much quieter than what I was expecting. The suction doesn’t “feel” strong but when you see and hear it doing it’s job, any doubts subside. It does a great job picking everything up. In conclusion, I’m happy to pay a bit more for quality. There’s no hype here. Yes it’s a bit heavy and maneuvering it takes some getting used to, so this wouldn’t be a good choice if you’ve got forearm/wrist. Buy it, it’ll work as you hoped for and then some.

As a pet owner (2 cats, 2 dogs), I need a vacuum cleaner that's up to the task. I picked up the Shark Apex DuoClean (blahblahblah) after reading and watching a number of positive reviews online, with the intention of replacing my now-7-year-old Dyson DC41. It's been just over a week with the Shark so I can't comment on durability yet, but so far it's worked extremely well. I'd have to say the Shark does a better job than the Dyson, judging by the amount of pet hair the Shark picked up on the same area of carpet immediately after vacuuming with the Dyson. I think the "Zero-M technology" largely gets the credit here, as the brushes remain totally clean, even after several uses. Being able to remove the canister from the head is also really handy — it made vacuuming the stairs much easier, and it's also possible to vacuum under the beds in this manner, which has never been possible with the Dyson. PROS: - Suction is strong - The brushes are self-cleaning, so they remain effective without maintenance - The dual roller setup works brilliantly for switching to hard floors - The headlight (and the light on the handle) is really nice - Very versatile/configurable with attachments and detachments - A bit quieter than my Dyson DC41 CONS: - The dust bin is noticeably smaller, requires more frequent emptying - Honestly, it's kind of ugly, even for a vacuum cleaner The relatively low capacity for the dust bin is really the only important negative for the vacuum cleaner that I can think of. Fortunately it's one that doesn't compromise its ability to clean a floor, which is why I'm comfortable rating this 5 stars. It's more a mild annoyance than a real dealbreaker for me.

This vacuum is definitely worth it! Going against the dysons this does the job just as good if not better for less than what a dyson would cost.

This vacuum is very versatile and powerful. We have a mix of hard wood, carpet, tile and a couple of shag rugs. This vacuum has no problem with each type. Switching modes is very convenient as well, with the switch located comfortably on the handle, along with the power button. I can't believe I haven't used a vacuum in the past with these options located so conveniently. The "lift-away" portion of the vacuum is also extremely useful. Much easier than lugging around the whole vacuum around to clean the stairs, and it's great for cleaning out the cars as well. There isn't much I didn't like about this vacuum, except I sort of wish the brush roll part of the vacuum was a bit wider. I'm used to covering a bit more area at a time, but on the positive side, this allows me to get in some tighter areas, so some may consider this a plus. Pros: Very versatile, nice looking, good power, convenient controls, lift-away is great Cons: more narrow brush roller area than I'm used to (could be a positive for some)

I just got this today and used it for the first time. I have been using a Dyson and felt like it wasn't getting the job done. I have a a 1500 sq. ft. home with hardwood, low pile and high pile carpets. 1. Unpacking and setting up was easy. 2. Easy to operate and easy to switch between surfaces. 3. The light made a huge difference. It was easy to see where the dirt was. I hadn't realized how much of a hlep this was. 3. It is somewhat heavy, but I didn't find this to be a problem. It pulls forward a little, which makes it a little more difficult to pull back toward you. If you have limited strength and are older, you might be look for a stick vacuum. 4. Excellent power and it picked up dirt well from all surfaces. 5. The rollers operated very well. 6. The tool holders don't work very well, but the fit and working order of all the other features, including detaching and using the wand, worked great. This is a well-designed and quality vacuum. I am very pleased so far, it operated much better than my old Dyson.
