If you need a quality item at a great price this is definitely a quick and easy way to replace an essential APPLIANCE. With the new modern features for convenience of setting times, I would highly recommend the Sharp Carousel.

So, I have to admit it was way bigger than I expected, but I’m so glad we got it. Two of my college-age kids are home right now so there’s a ton of microwaving happening. This is one of the best microwaves I’ve ever owned and the size saves me time. I can warm alto of food at once including large casseroles. I highly recommend it.

Blends in with my kitchen. Works well. Size I was looking for. Easy to work.

So far so good..had it for a month and it's been great! Absolutely beautiful stainless steel that matches everything in our kitchen. All the neat new features are wonderful. Very fast and even heating. I think honestly this is the largest microwave available.

So far, this is better than the LG. Doesn’t make irritating musical tones. My only complaint is it came in scratched and o can’t reach anyone at Best Buy unless I call the store.

I looked at the Sharp, the LG, and the Whirlpool. They all looked about the same and at the time they were similarly priced. I chose the Sharp because I needed to install it in a cabinet and after looking at the reviews and installation instructions, the Sharp was the easiest to install, 6 screws, that's it. We have used most of the features so far. I like the Melt feature, and the Sensor Reheat. Auto Defrost seems to work well also. I also like the larger tray.

Just got it installed today but looks great! Looking forward to using. Looks extra easy to use.

Probably the best microwave you can get for under $200.00.

Great family sized microwave that is very powerful and somehow very quiet for a microwave. Love this thing!!!

great microwave for the money and great cooking features

Purchased the unit in early 2019, since mid 2020 IT started to make intermittent sound and the noise as become permanent since beginning of 2021 (It's like a aircraft flying over me). I opened the unit last night, cleaned all the debri, re-seated the turntable motor (synchronous motor - 49tyd-16a1 class a made by Heng Cheng), tightened the screws. I searched the exact replacement part of the turntable motor online and could find only a few used parts. There was no exact match and few blogs suggested that the alternative search result parts will not work with this unit. As a final measure, I contacted the Sharp Support this morning and was surprised to know that the unit is non-service'able and parts are not available. As a consumer what am I suppose to do? Money is paid in full, the unit works just fine with exception of annoying noise and there is no service or part available. Sounds like, trash the unit and buy a new one or live with the jet sound? Waiting to see what the escalation service group will tell me in an hr from now. I won't be surprised when they'll call me and state the follow and wash-off their hands from selling an inferior quality product: the product is out of warranty, parts are not available given the age/more modern model available (end of life) and customer should not open/service the unit on their own

Glad that I chose to purchase my microwave at Bestbuy! Very happy with this item.

Seems to be working well so far. Points off are mostly because for as much as it costs it came with a missing leg. Easily mitigated with some cardboard underneath, but that definitely feels like something that shouldn't have been an issue.

Tried three of this model. First two bought from Best Buy. Third was sent from Sharp. Sensor reheat intermittently works. When it doesn't work the microwave stays on until you turn it off. My house filled with smoke from all three of these microwaves. Chinese food burnt until it was black. The replacement microwave sent by Sharp burnt pizza slice and cracked my porcelain plate in half. See photo of black pizza slice and cracked plate. Sharp refuses to admit there is something wrong with the sensor reheat function. They offered to reimburse cost of microwave, but not replacement cost of my expensive plate. The current replacement cost for this Villeroy & Boch dinner plate is almost $200. I've used Sharp microwaves for decades with no problems. It appears this is not the same company that used to make a great product. Best Buy replaced the first two microwaves. No dishes were damaged in those. I was hoping this was just a shipping and handling problem, but when the 3rd one failed I knew this was an unresolved Sharp design flaw. The slice of pizza I reheated for lunch reheated with no problems, so I thought everything was ok. When I reheated the last pizza slice for dinner I thought it would be OK. Instead, I heard a loud crack and had another smoke filled house.
