We did pair it with a Bose sound bar but I am loving this tv. Def would by again and love watching all the movies! Picture is so clean and vibrant .. also love that you can change settings per what you are watching Only weird thing I’ve encountered it the tv does randomly shut off. Not sure if it the tv or my cable causing it to do so.

Amazing picture quality, amazing sound. Earlier I was the Samsung fan, 5 years back switched to Sony and then realised the difference between Samsung and Sony pictures. Bought A80K 77 inch a month back, it has been amazing for me, better realistic picture with real life colors. Brightness could be the concerns for some users, but I think it has more than enough. For me any brightness higher than this would be strain on eyes, in fact I am not watching this TV with full brightness even though my room is not dark, it has a pretty big window. I am Best Buy fan too.. so far I have bought all my TV's or big appliances from Best Buy only.

Great picture, with some issues

First, I purchases this open box in Excellent condition which meana it ahould have all the parts. Was missing vesa screws, POWER CABLE, and installations. Had to make 3 calls to BB but the store was able to help me get compensated for the issue. 2. Near the power input im getting buzzing at times and its driving me crazy. That paired with buzzing from the screen when using it as a center channel speaker and soundbar is annoying and ill have to habe someone come fix it. Otherwise it has the best picture I have seen. Very fast moving in the android OS and very easy to setup since Google can run and install it all. Backlit controller would be nice but otherwise i love it!

The picture quality is amazing and everything looks so good! The deep blacks and the vibrant colors. I will only use oled tv's going forward. I use this tv for my gaming setup with all of the modern consoles and they work great with it.

Picture quality is amazing, super sharp and bright enough for my living room. This is my first OLED tv and I don’t think I could ever go back. Gaming performance is unmatched. Connected to my PS5, it runs smoothly at 4K 120FPS. Every game looks beautiful, like it was made for the PlayStation.

You often get the impression might be in 3D, that's how sharp and brilliant the colors are. It is expensive but if you plan on about 9-10 years of use the cost is not so hard to justify. It took some time to get it connected properly to our theater system so we temporarily relied on the built in sound and that was the best I've heard for a TV. Our old tv wasn't bad but it starting having issues and we're glad we took the leap.

This TV was too large to fit in my car, so Best Buy offered a free delivery and it went really smooth. The OLED 4K display is more impressive than I anticipated, with vibrant colors and deep blacks. The sound quality is a real standout – the built-in speakers deliver clear, rich audio that enhances my viewing experience. The deal I got at Best Buy made it even better. Highly recommend for a top-notch home theater experience.

I originally purchased an LG C2 77” open box special at Best Buy in DE. Wasn’t a fan of the deal after the fact. Decided to return it a few days later. I intended to just get a new LG C2 77. Instead, I walked out with an A80K 77”. This is my first in home experience with OLED so it’s a breath of fresh air. The picture is beautiful. Watching movies are very enjoyable. Sports look great too. I use an LG SQ80Y sound bar so I am not too sure about sound. Only thing I wish is that Sony offered Xfinity app on their App Store so that I could replicate the “cable experience” easier. Instead I have to bounce around between tv provided apps.

Center Channel link has constant hiss/static.

Call a friend if you’re planning to wall mount it. Center Channel link has constant static from TV and is unusable. Sony dances around that defect and is slow to admit there is a known issue with a logic board in the unit. I have compromised and am using only center from sound bar.

I did a lot of research before making a purchase and after weeks of reading reviews and online shopping, I decided to go with the 77” Sony Bravia A80K. I was able to see this unit in action at a local Best Buy and it really stood out from all the others in the store. This is my first OLED and so far, I am really enjoying the vibrant colors and clear pictures. I started to get a sound bar to pair with it but I really don’t need one as the sound quality is pretty good on its own. I definitely recommend this TV and it is well worth the money!

Was looking at a LED vs OLED. Wow the difference. We love the detail on the OLED. The pictures are so detailed and clear. My older TV was ok but this is AMAZING. The contrast between the deep black and other colors is crazy. Don't know how we watched TV without this. I can not wait for football season. Also purchased a Sonos Arc sound bar and their subwoofer. This system is unbelievable. I am so appreciative with the Best Buy associates and their knowledge about the differences in TV's and systems. I went to the store several times to look before purchasing. Each time I became a little more in tune with the features.

Do not get this if your room isn't completely dark get the LED. Excluding the 2023 releases this is the best you can get due to it's size. Size is always more important than minor upgrades in visual quality (a la first year QD-OLED smaller sizes).

You can configure various settings related to the TV display such as color and brightness for picture quality, or screen size. The actual display may vary or some settings may not be available depending on your model/country/region and the content you are watching. Fantastic picture various picture setting allow it to be set for different illumination conditions. I Thought going to a 77 inch TV would be to much but it fits well in my living room. 1 small niggle. The operator manuals lack much detail, even the on line ones seem very sparse. I found that frustrating.

The voice control remote is easy to use. I have no problem setting up google tv. Lots of great free streaming content. So many great things to say. The speakers are loud and clear. The tv stand that comes with it are strong and sturdy. The picture is great and the quality of sounds that you see and heard in front of you is the best I’ve ever seen on any TV.

Best picture I've seen on any TV!

The brights are amazingly bright and the darks as black as can be. Definitely the focal point of the room whenever it's on.
