You cannot beat the price on this economical bluray player with built in wifi! Connects and holds a strong signal to wifi and explore many many apps!!! Plays Blu-ray Discs flawlessly!!

We are very happy with this Sony Blu-ray player. Very easy to hookup and to operate. And, it has a very good selection of apps, including "Crackle."

I like that it has more than one way to watch a movie, flash drive, disc or wifi

Got this compact Sony Blu ray layer for my mother-in-law. she needed a small compact unit that was wifi capable and had the apps (Netflix, Hulu+) that she used to watch her favorite shows. this little unit "fit the biill"! easy set-up, great picture on blu ray disks. Thanks Sony for earning me "brownie points" with my mother-in-law!

This is a great little player. We use it more for the apps than BluRay, and it works flawlessly. Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime are pre-loaded and are simple to set up. The player itself works quickly, quietly, and without issue. It's a good buy!

At right around $100 I expected a basic blu-ray player. I was pleasantly surprised that the wireless internet option came with a free month of Netflix! Simple to use and love how compact it is.

This line of Blu Ray players is really nice because you can choose the model that is just right for your needs, so if you don't need 3D or 4K you don't have to get the more expensive player with those options. For us the player we bought does all we need, play Blu Rays and DVD's stream Netflix and Amazon video. The remote is really nice if you have a Sony TV because it is integrated, and you won't need two separate remotes anymore when going back and forth between your TV and the player. All in all, feature rich, with Sony quality, and a great value!

Good quality product, especially for the price. Easy to set up and operate. Blu ray looks great and the online streaming works seamlessly. The one complaint I have is that it does not include the HBO GO app. I would have assumed you could just download it but I haven't found an easy way to do that yet.

The Sony - BDPS3500 - Streaming Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player, is compact, easy to use. I love it compared to our older player. It responds quickly to the remote commands and you do not need to be in direct line up with the player for it to work. Felt the price was very reasonable and a lot less then I thought it would be especially for the quality. Fast and easy on the Streaming WI-FI.

Didn't need a blu-ray player with either 3D capabilities or 4K upscaling so decided on this unit with wi-fi built in. The player itself is light and in my opinion is attractive. Up-scaling of dvd(s) is very good. The USB port on the front of the unit is very useful. I appreciate the customizable user interface. Will be buying another one in the future. My summary: Pros - Light, customizable interface/menu, wi-fi built in, usb port, quiet, attractive design, good app selection, fair price, included remote is good Cons - Very slight lag in a few menus sometimes, included remote is not backlit, lack of front panel on the player (at least there is a light indicating if the player is on or not)

This player was very easy to set up and use. Nice and compact and reasonably priced. I was looking for something simple to play BluRay DVDs and it amply fulfills this and more. It replaces some of my Chromecast functions as well. The only thing I wish is it comes with multiple language input function which would allow me to search YouTube in another language like Chinese. Overall, it's a great little player.

at local best buy this item on sale was out of stock. Drove 12 miles to another best buy that had just 2 in stock. Bought this item on last day of the sale for $55 off list price. Functionality and ease of use far exceeded my expectations. Connects wirelessly to internet to enjoy Netflicks. Rate this my best purchase for the holidays.

While I only bought this for the Blue-Ray options to replace an older BD player that was not compatible with some newer Blue-Ray DVDS it has very many options for streaming video and/or listening to music. Easy to setup, low footprint, and works with Sony devices via Sync. Can find no cons with this BD Player.

I was looking for a smart blue ray player that was easy to install and connect. The built-in apps are great. I use Amazon Prime and it was easy to set up. Remote is small with not to many buttons. The overall device is very small compared to CD players in the past. It also doesn't get warm like other players.

This Sony Blue ray player is awesome! The set-up was simple, too only 10 mins. The picture quality is awesome. The provided remote is very easy to use and has an built-in Netflix app button. Yes, the apps provided are also very helpful and easy to set-up.

Bought this for our family room. It does a good job playing blu-ray discs and streaming netflix, amazon, etc. It is a pretty good player for the price. One drawback is it takes a long time to turn on and off and the remote is not the best.

Finally dropped to an acceptable price point during Black Friday. Been enjoying watching my growing Blu Ray library and additionally using it to stream Internet content. Three months in and still an good buy.

The Sony BDPS3500 is a great Blu Ray player as well as media center. I had recently purchased an Epson projector so that I can enjoy my movies at home on a big screen, but I needed to get something to play movies from. I got tired of moving my PS3 from my room to the living room, so I decided I needed a media player. I came across the Sony BDPS3500 and I was a bit reluctant to try it at first. Once I connected it and started using it, I realized how easy it was and how good the picture quality was, I knew I made a good choice. I use the wifi connection because I didn't want lots of wires hanging from my ceiling, and it all turned out amazing. I would recommend this Blu Ray player to anyone looking for good quality Blu Ray player.
