I coupled this with my SteelSeries Apex 5 keyboard, and it's an awesome gaming experience. The RGBs on this mouse are incredibly beautiful, and the ability to change the lighting zones is very intuitive and easy to do. The ability to change up the weights is wonderful -- I used all of them because I like the solid feel when moving the mouse around. Additionally, the number of macros buttons is perfect -- too many more and I might have had difficulty remembering what I assigned to which. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quick and responsive gaming experience or just mouse functional capabilities for every day use as well. I give a 4 out of 5 for Value, simply because this was a bit pricey. There are, of course, more expensive options like ones by Razer. But anyone who can purchase a great quality mouse like this <$100 would probably easily be able to give it a 5 out of 5. If this ever goes on sale or you receive a gift card to Best Buy, this will be a no-brainer.

Love this mouse, definitely an upgrade from the hyper x pulsefire surge. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because for some reason when I charge it and unplug it from charging it doesn’t sense my mouse pad correctly and I have to recalibrate it on a hard surface before using it on my mousepad again. Dont know why that happens, but other than that this mouse is great and has precise tracking. Also has no input delay that I can notice, I play mainly warzone on a 240hz monitor and haven’t had any input issues. It definitely keeps up with wired mouses in the same tier.

I bought this mouse for my Zephyrus S. I can't find anything bad to say. Wireless functionality and RGB works perfect. Battery life is great. Omron switches feel awesome for first person shooters, and navigating Windows. Also includes 8 4 gram weights to increase overall weight of mouse.

I love this mouse, wireless and quick charging. Has sensor that will still read movement even if mouse isn't completely set down on mouse pad. Works well with all the SteelSeries Apps. Bought it while on sale and I have been very pleased.

I had purchased this mouse in order to replace my Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum since Logitech didn't seem to have any wireless variants that suited my needs or comfort. One of the main buttons I use in gaming is the "Sniping" button which is traditionally placed right at the tip of the thumb.
Cons:
This mouse does offer the 2 standard side buttons and the sniper button, but the distance was a bit too far for comfort and the overall size was the same as the others, so it was difficult to distinguish them at first.
One issue that became apparent over time was the rubber grips, and while Steelseries does offer a free replacement plan for them it's just a hassle to get them exchanged every so many months. The issue, at least from my experience, is that the glue that they use is not applied equally across the whole grip and is actually a pad, so over time they move and fall out of place.
Software was another major let-down as I play a wide variety of games and map the buttons to different functions, but after a certain update the automatic profiles did not switch and i would have to go out of my way to open the software and change it manually. Though this isn't a hardware issue nor is it major, it is still a slight inconvenience.
Pros:
The tracking on this mouse is one of the smoothest I have felt even compared to some WIRED mice. The level of customization for speed of tracking, polling rate, and height for the dual sensor is phenomenal and definitely a 5 star.
The lighting elements look astonishing and have plenty of zones to truly blend different colors together for a very unique look. Although I did not have any other Steelseries peripherals, I was easily able to match the lighting scheme and animation of my other RGB products.
The battery life is impressive and depending on the use-case you can get anywhere from 24 hours or more based on lighting settings and timers you've set. The most impressive thing about the battery is just how fast it charges. In about 15-30min you can get a COMPLETE charge.
Conclusion:
This is a great wireless mouse if you are someone in the market for something flashy that lasts a long time and has an extensive number of customizable functions, but I would wait for it to go on sale considering that the rubber grips come off easily and the software does not work reliably all of the time.

So I've used a ton of gaming mice (both wired and wireless) over the last 15 years now, and I have to say this is my favorite. Having recently has the Logitech G903, Corsair Dark Core RGB SE, Razer Mamba Tournament, Fnatic Flick 2 and so forth I love the feel and responsiveness of this mouse.
There is no delay or lag from when you move your mouse to seeing the pointer on screen move.
The options for weights is a nice bonus as well, allowing you to put weight more towards the middle front or rear of the mouse depending on your liking.
It's a aesthetically pleasing mouse and the grips on the side are made of the same material as the sensei raw mouse, it's got a nice rubberized feeling that keeps the mouse in your hands with no risk of it slipping.
The software that comes along with it is great and allows the buttons to be customized to your liking.
The battery life is also incredible, I've charged it once over 4 days now and it has lasted like a champ (this being said I probably play games a minimum of 4-5 hours a day) so it gets some serious use.
If you are looking for a amazing wireless mouse at a good price point look no further.
Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Wireless mouse that wins the RGB show

As this being my first Steelseries mouse, there is a lot to be had here. First, the wireless capabilities. When it’s charging, it doesn’t take long to get a quick charge off of it. When used wirelessly I don’t notice a difference with mouse lag unlike how I did with the Razer Lancehead. There was no lag in my gaming sessions and that is a huge factor in what you want in fast paced games like Dota, League of legends, or any FPS/ MOBA game that really relies on that pinpoint accuracy to call the shots.
Most mice have a proprietary charger and this one is no different. I was left with only the cord once I lost my wireless usb that allowed wireless capabilities. Now Best Buy doesn’t sell the accessories for this mouse, like the usb and such, but you can easily find it currently on the steelseries website to order a replacement.
This mouse has a decent amount of choices on how to display the colors and the RGB really stands out.
If you are looking for a mouse with a lot of flare to it while still being one of the best on the market I would ditch that old $10 pc mouse for a major league gaming mouse.
I went to a full Logitech setup as my number one brand. Not for the RGB displays and looks, but to ditch all of the extras for the performance and reliability that is necessary in order to keep my setup on par with my specific needs. By all means, steelseries is one of the best pc gaming brands currently owning the market, and if flare and accuracy are your number one without sacrificing the RGB looks than this may be the mouse for you.
Here’s how I would rate this mouse from its aesthetic down to its overall design and feel as well as control.
-Aesthetic 10/10 (One of the most best in class for design and looks)
-Control 10/10 (maneuverability plays a key factor in online gaming and FPS (First Person Shooters.))
-Wireless vs Wired 8/10 (because once it’s out of battery mid game you will still run into a hiccup of having to reconnect via usb charging dongle.)
-Quick Charge 8/10 (Charges fast, but doesn’t constantly always charge unlike the high end Logitech Powerplay mousepad.)
Recommendation score: 9/10 or 90%/100%
How I calculated my recommendation score. Added each number from the pros (first number) and added by the out of tens (last number) and divided with a total of 36/40 to get the 90th percentile.

Even though this is a month since I bought it, I would say it’s really good. The software for it is really friendly and easy and the lighting options are nice, plus the different weights help out for sure. The only problem I have is small but it’s the third thumb mouse button and it’s hard to reach. But id say buy it if you like heavy weight mice

I purchased the Rival 650 Wireless because I needed a mouse that wouldn't hurt my hand over prolonged use (I have beginning stages of early onset arthritis, and my previous mouse was causing discomfort).
The Rival 650 is comfortable to use for long periods of time, and the weight can be easily adjusted if I need to.
It responds well while playing games. I haven't noticed any latency issues whatsoever. I do, however, recommended plugging the receiver dongle into the extension cable, rather than directly into a USB port on the back of the computer.
The RGB color is a fun addition, but in my case wasn't a make or break feature. It is fun to mess around with though. The software is fairly straightforward.
I like the fact that the mouse can be used wired when the battery drains, but if you plug it in nightly (or whenever you aren't actively using it) it's not likely to run out on you. It goes to sleep when not in use to keep the battery from draining, and you have to wake it up with a click.
I was not looking to spend this much on a mouse, but needed wireless and something comfortable on my hand. After doing research and trying out a couple of other mice, this is the one I ended up on, and I'm very happy with it after using it for a couple of months.

Very good mouse, great replacement to my Razer wireless - has a long charge to it, can be weighted to your preference, easy to use customization program. Can be pricey to those not looking for a gaming mouse but to those that game and need a high quality mouse - this is a great option.

Best features are the customizable weight of the mouse, the optional wired/ wireless capabilities, and adjustable touch sensitivity. Another great feature is that the mouse automatically turns off of unused for a paid off time, which saves battery life during the wireless option. The scroll wheel flashes red to indicate low battery, typically after over 24 hours of use.
The one improvement that could be made would be that the manual could include more information on how to assign an action to first button on the side of the mouse. Maybe I missed something in the instructions, but as of now that first button is useless to me. So doesn't significantly affect the overall rating of this item.

Mouse is very good at what it is, an ergonomic, heavy wireless mouse. Sensor is fantastic on it and has great liftoff distance and control. Software is easy to use and not as invasive as razer synapse in my opinion. Only cons I have is the price as there are other possibly better mice for cheaper and battery life. At this price point other mice such as logitech g pro wireless are lighter and have battery life over 3 times longer than this one. Also you have to really like heavy mice and be a higher dpi player has constantly flicking on low dpi gets tiresome after awhile. If they could release this shape and make it 40g lighter and have a 80hr battery at minimum they'd have a real hit. If you don't mind charging every other day or so then this could work for you.

I was given this mouse as an Xmas gift and I love it. It's smooth, fast, and the battery lasts forever. The RGB is very customizable, able to set light colors and modes. The weight is also customizable, as the mouse has 8 removable 4 gram weights. It has lots of DPS settings selectable by the button just behind the scroll wheel, making it great for FPS gaming. Plus, you can connect it to your PC with the cable and charge it while playing.

Great mouse hindered by wireless lag issues

The SteelSeries 650 wireless mouse has been a great upgrade and replacement for my Logitech g602, as it's slimmer form and soft touch material feel much more comfortable.
However, I've experienced some issues with lag on this mouse with the wireless receiver being no more than a foot away since I'm using this mouse with a laptop setup on my desk.
After using the included usb cable extension to move the receiver closer to my mousepad, it got much better, but the fact I had to do that was very unfortunate. I can only imagine this being a bigger issue for those with PCs under their desk or somewhere not as close for the wire extension to reach. Might just be my mouse or my receiver, but take this into consideration when looking to purchase this mouse.
Considering that issue was resolvable, and the mouse otherwise works great for FPS games and some MOBAs with the 3 side buttons for macros/hotkeys, this is a great value mouse for those looking to ball out a bit without the need for a ton of extras.
As someone with larger hands, but uses a fingertip grip on my mouse without palming it, this mouse is perfectly fine. However, I can see this being an issue for others with big hands that like to palm their mouse, since this just isn't the size for that.
Battery life is solid, lasting me about 2.5 days of regular usage without turning it off. You can get much better battery time by regularly turning it off when you're done and disabling RGB in the SteelSeries Engine app.
For those that like a bit of a weighty mouse like me, it comes with an additional 32 grams divided into 4 gram weights you can plug into the sides of the mouse. The removal of the panels is easy and really just plug and play, and the magnetic snap for the panels to re-attach is solid and satisfying. If you'd like to stow away the weights, there is a soft rubber/silicone case you can plug them into that can loop around a cable like your keyboard cable so you can have it out of sight but still in reach as to not lose it.
Overall, well thought out design and works great, just a shame I have to get that receiver to be right next to my mouse pad for it to work smoothly.

I like it! It's extremely comfortable, a bit big for my hands but for the reasons, I utilize it's doable. I love the RGB lighting it comes with, the buttons are easily reprogrammable which does come in handy with my type of workflow. I love that it's wireless. It gives it a cleaner look for anyone's setup. I highly recommend it ONLY if you're not looking to use it for more intense gaming at least in my opinion.

This RGB gaming mouse comes with a set up weights you can use to adjust the feel of te mouse, and has a very good response time and liftoff detection system for when you pick up the noise off the mousepad.
The color schemes are adjustable in the Steelseries app and can be set to synchronize with other Steelseries devices like keyboards and headphones.
It has very smooth motion and high dpi if you want that too.

So far I'm liking this mouse. I'm a pretty hardcore pc gamer and wireless has always been a turn off. But that said this mouse seems to preform without stutter and delay, and the battery life is good enough. Also helps that it also functions as a wired mouse when it does run out of juice. So no worries. The weight is just right and the feel is comfy for me coming from a Rival 310. I'm hopping it lasts a few years, only time will tell.

I never thought I'd enjoy a mouse as much as I do this one.. it is comfortable, precise, has more functionality than I'd ever need! & cool, customizable RGB lighting to boot! I also like the fact that you can add/remove weights to get that perfect feel.. super cool! Would definitely pick this up if you're in the market for a new mouse!
