The Deco app that you use to set up the mesh network walks you through everything and makes it super easy. I had everything up and running in about 20-30 minutes. And the price was half of similar alternatives so definitely worth giving it a try.

I was unsure about this mesh router because it was so much cheaper than other comparable brands. It was easy to setup using the App, it has some descent controls for parental limits and screen time. The gaps I noticed is it doesn’t support Ethernet back hauling, and reporting doesn’t provide you a lot of details, other than that it’s a good unit to expand WiFi in your house. My home is slightly over 4200sqft. and it provides good coverage.

My apartment is longer than what a traditional router can support and when I had switched cable companies the installer mentioned mesh systems being better than buying just an extender. He was absolutely right, this mesh network is incredible, there are no dead zones in my apartment at all, I can see every device that is using WiFi on my network, and it was easy to install for an insanely low price compared to many of the other mesh networks out there.

These are rated at 5500 sq ft coverage. My home is a 4900 sq ft+ rambler and we are getting full coverage in every room and corner of the house. Using Xfinity 75MBPS and we don't have any gamers in the house but we do have a lot of devices and kids are always doing homework or streaming something and we have zero waiting, zero lag. Very happy with the TP LInk Deco mesh wifi. Set up took 2 tries for some reason and I had to reset each device before it would let me run the set up again but the second time everything went flawlessly so I didn't take any points away for that...technology isn't perfect and I might have made a mistake the first time. Eventually if they offer fiber where we live then I may need something with higher speeds, maybe? but this is very much up to the task for our situation right now. Would recommend to anyone who wants fast, reliable wifi.

Bought this for a 3K sq ft ranch where previous routers kept dropping out. This system works well. Easy to set up with the phone app. Still playing with locations for the three units. Ideally the base should be in the middle but my cable input is at one end of the house. Trying to hide them is not easy as they're fairly substantial. I'm using it with the modem part of an old TP-Link cable modem/router. Got good reviews and the price is good. Took BB a week to get one ready for pickup though.

I installed these in our 1500 foot single level house. The main unit is in the basement connected to our cable modem/router. The other 2 are in the living space. I used speedtest.net to assess the bandwidth at various locations inside and outside the house. As this system was replacing a Google WiFi mesh (3 nodes, same locations), before installing I measured the bandwidth of the Google system for comparison. In almost every location the TP-Link reduced ping times by about 20% and increased bandwidth by 10% (or more).
The app makes short work of setup and gives you good visibility into how your WiFi network is performing. Overall I am very happy with this product.

Very easy to use and set up. I only use 2 to cover my house. My home is 1700 square feet. They feel cheaply made but it works and a great price. Set up was super easy and to add a deco was easy also. The app is very simple to work.

I love these things. I have installed them in my house and three other relatives' houses. They are super easy to set up with the app and easy to add onto if you need more coverage. You don't lose any speed with them. I use one as a replacement router for my FIOS internet and it works great. No need to buy some of the more expensive brands, these are excellent.

Multiple Wireless Units Throughout House

The coronavirus has created issues for many. With my wife working from home 100 percent and myself having zoom meetings for work at home, we had to cover more space of the house and minimize WiFi signals being dropped or lost. This helped to even the signal throughout the house and helped speed up the signal when we would have multiple units running simultaneously. So easy to set up, there is an app you can download for free to monitor and improve your set up. I would recommend this to anyone needing to cover more space and have multiple units running at the same time. Worth every penny!

So far so good. Downloaded the app, didn’t really read any instructions as the system is fairly intuitive, and was set up and running in under 10 minutes. The only small issue that I ran into is I want to have three networks to connect to i.e 2.4, 5.0, and guest network, looked briefly to achieve this, but haven’t solved yet. I think I paid 142 shipped, and this mesh system has been a solid performer, quality price ratio is great, recommended.

10/10. Installed at my in-laws house and they can now use the internet on the second floor and in the kitchen. Setup was easy, and I was able to get it to match their previous password and network name. Before this I tried a few other brands of router with no mesh, and was not successful.
Great for in-law type situations!

Great coverage in all areas, no more dead zones! I live in an old 3 level home and the modem is on the second floor. Thick walls and sprawling rooms made a bunch of cruddy connections. This fixed it all. Now we have great coverage everywhere in the house. Super easy to set up and has pretty good management software.

Great product at a great on sale price. The only challenge was working through the fact that we have Comcast as our internet provider and that means that we have their modem/router. We needed to turn off the router function, connect one of the Deco Mesh modules with the ethernet cable, and have it function as our sole wifi connection. This was not particularly clear in the TP-Link setup info.

TP-Link Deco M4 Whole Home WiFi System - Tri-Pack

Pros: What I like about this triple pack of Home WiFi Mesh System is the ease of installation and setup and the power of WiFi around the home. I am a Virgin Media customer with high width broadband and I was struggling to get a decent signal in certain rooms upstairs. I contacted VM and they gave me 2 WiFi booster plugs that use the wiring in your home to boost the signal. This was very poor and the booster kit did not meet my satisfaction. I did a little research online and came across the WiFi mesh system that you can setup in your home. I found that this product sounded great and had fab reviews and was on offer the day I purchased it so I went ahead and bought them. It took me around 20-25 mins, if that, to setup and install in and around my home. Once installed my speed of internet went from 32mbps upstairs to 211mbps. I was amazed. This is a fantastic product if you want your entire home to be WiFi accessible throughout. It has amazes me how it works and putting each device strategically around the home I am nor getting top speeds all around my home. I would highly recommend this product to boost your WiFi. It is well worth the money. Cons: There isn’t anything that I dislike about this product. It’s great.

I have used many Wi-Fi routers in the past 10 years, but will only use TP Link for my personal use. Easy to set up, great mesh system, and the rage is incredible. My house would have been fine with two units, but the 3 unit system was on sale, so I got it and I think it just makes it work better.
