I have been wanting to try a TP-Link product for some time. When my existing Google Mesh (original version) seemed to develop some stability issues, I used that as my motivation to upgrade that 5+ year old system. Plus, my wife and I have new work laptops with newer wifi capabilities, so this seemed like a good time to do it.
Installation was VERY easy. Just use the app and it does all of the work for you for the most part. I don't have any non-standard settings and my network is pretty vanilla, so the app made it quick and easy.
When we built our home I had ethernet cable/ports installed in every room. This allows me to use the ethernet backhaul capability to connect the satellites to the network versus using a wifi channel to do this. This also allows me to place the satellites anywhere I want as I am not dependent on the satellite node connecting wirelessly to the main node. That was super-easy plug-and-play. No configuring in the app was needed to set up the satellites on the hardwired connection. They got recognized and self-setup in a minute or two.
I also seem to be getting a little more speed out of my network. After running many Speedtests, I am getting in the high 500's fairly consistently where I seemed to be closer to the low 500's with the old Google Mesh system. So an extra bonus for that.
Range also seems to be slightly improved over the already-good Google Mesh. It's a close call, but I will say that it is marginally better. (I didn't have any dead zones that I was aware of previously.) I seem to have a strong signal across the 3 floors of my home.
Overall I strongly endorse the TP-Link XE75 Pro system!

We used to have a Orbi tri band system with 1 router, 2 satellites and it was slightly older from around 2018. It worked fine for a connection under 800mbps but our house is around 4,800sq ft if you count our garage, basement and other areas. Unfortunatly the way our home is, the router is on the left side, we have one satellite upstairs and one on the other end of the house in the garage. Our router speed test was around 800x400, 300x200 upstairs 2 rooms away and 150x100 in the garage on the other side of the house.
So i tried the Wyze Router pro and it wasn't great, it just overall doesnt have many features and couldnt carry a good signal to each satellite and wifi handoff was TERRIBLE.
So i got this system, placed them in the same spot. We pay for 1,100 by 600 mbps.
Now by the router we get that FULL speed wirelessly, upstairs 2 rooms away we get 800 by 600, and in the garage we get around 780 by 500. Sp overall, the signal is extreme, it works anywhere in our yard and any part of our house gets amazing signal, speed, and wifi handoff between them is amazing. We used the 6ghz band as a backhaul instead of using it as a seperate network & backhauk and it makes it faster. Overall this system range might be overkill but it ensures everywhere in the house we're at least getting 85% of our total speed. Havent had issues with any devices connecting. Setup is super fast and easy, and app doesnt have too many crazy features but it has everything you need and its super quick and doesnt lag.

Really solid devices. I am using them at home to provide coverage upstairs, downstairs and even in the front and back of my house (for cameras and music by the pool). Coverage is great using these and they were super easy to setup and use. I would highly recommend these if you have a large house and need coverage everywhere. The connection is solid and performance is great as well. We stream from multiple TV's (Apple TV and Amazon Fire Sticks) and devices like Xbox, PS4, tablets and of course my Ring Alarm and Camera system. So coverage and performance were very important to us. Very solid product, would highly recommend.

I recently upgraded my home WiFi from my previous, and very loved AmpliFi HD mesh system, to the TP Link Deco AXE5400 Pro. I have fiber internet at 2Gbps and I was shocked at how much of an improvement this TP Link system is! I loved my old system from the customization aspect, but the Deco system has every feature AND more. It’s the most easy system to setup I have ever used over the last 20 years, and also offers all the technical features I needed to have all my devices set up precisely.
The system handles every bit of the 2Gbps speed and has plenty of room for more, plus the mesh coverage surpasses my expectations by miles, and I expected nothing but the best. I would’ve paid double the price for how well this product works, and absolutely couldn’t be happier.
No dropped signal. No issues with having to reset the router or satellite devices. Not a single problem or hiccup whatsoever. Plus, the privacy features and ease of setting the parameters exactly as you need, make this easily the best WiFi product I’ve purchased.
I’m probably the most particular and analytical person I know when it comes to electronics and their functionality, and I would never take the time to write this review unless this product was top tier.
Long story short, if you’re in the market for a WiFi 6 or 6E mesh router system, this one should be at the top of your list.

Stellar speed due to 6e backhaul!

After lots of reviews I decided to upgrade my original google wifi 3 puck mesh. It has done well for the past 8 years but was time to upgrade due to faster internet.
I chose this tp link x75 pro due to the wireless 6e backhaul and wow what a difference! If I would have hardwired my google wifi I would have seen similar speeds, but I am not able to get in my attic and handle that atm.
Just dropping these in has taken my previous speeds on the 2nd/3rd node from roughly 300 down and 90 up to over 850 down and 120 up on my nodes! Latency remained roughly the same around 10-13 ms.
The slowest speeds I have seen are in my garage, away from a 2nd node and still reaching over 400 down and over 100 up with roughly 18ms latency.
I picked these up on sale for $299 and that is what I paid 8 years ago for google wifi pucks.
I am not sad at all about google wifi, it was amazing compared to what I had before that but technology changes. I am super pleased with the tp link.
Pros: speed incredible over previously mentioned WiFi. Like, I am not concerned with hardlining my home now fast.
Cons: no built in modem to router Speedtest.
I have a few 6e wireless devices and am seeing 1500+ down and 120 up on 6e.
Oddly I have seen over 1200 down on WiFi ac with a iPhone 15 pro and my sons 16. I haven’t tested my wife’s zfold4.
Regardless, I keep the 6e turned off so the dedicated backhaul can whip that data and this has been the best investment for the money I could think of for a small to medium home.
Go out and buy it…for real it is great!

I have been a Netgear fan for 20 years. Before Netgear I had ASUS routers and migrated to Netgear because they make a bunch of networking gear. I have owned every Netgear router that looks like a space age fighter from the AX line that I can safely say I've spent several thousand dollars with Netgear. I had become numb to slow Wi-Fi speeds off of their routers and I kept thinking that another firmware update or maybe I'll just purchase another router and it'll get faster speeds. I've become accustomed to seeking third-party firmware's in order to gain more control through the Netgear interface on their router to no avail. I have a gigabit fiber connection into my closet for my provider and have never been able to get anything over 350 or 400 in Wi-Fi speed where the router would always test at 980 960 and so on. You cannot connect to 4K TVs and multiple mobile phones and a work laptop and all of your IOT devices to that type of connection. You're going to get video quality drops and connection drops either on your TV or during your work sessions on the Netgear Wi-Fi network with speeds that slow because it happened to me no matter what I did I did not get good Wi-Fi speeds from Netgear. I have a personal relationship with my internet provider because of how hardcore I got into troubleshooting, packet sniffing, anything that would further identify what the issue was with my Wi-Fi network and all along it's just Netgear and they're crappy products. And they're overpriced too! I am now convinced, having taken 20 minutes to set this mesh network up in my little home that Netgear doesn't care about their customers, taking their money while they distribute super cool looking sub standard performing products with crap firmware updates. And I don't even know anything about mesh networks! I'm saying all of this because this TP link mesh network, OUT OF THE BOX, gives me 900 MB plus speeds with no intricate config at the router no tweaking of the app... it just works. This dang little thing said itself up for me. Not only does it just work out of the box, but I spent $340 bucks on these three satellites. My Netgear RAXE500 was $600, my orbie devices were $1,200, the RAX6000, the 8000 all of those devices are hundreds and hundreds of dollars and this device just worked perfectly out of the box! People are now buying Wi-Fi 7 routers when there aren't any devices to support that and netgear's leading that line with a $2,300 or $2,700 triple satellite Wi-Fi system or if you go look at their reviews they can't get good Wi-Fi speeds off of those products either! What the heck was I thinking with Netgear all these years! I will never go back to Netgear and I will never use another Netgear device no matter how space age they make it look. I am very happy with TP-Link thank you.

I nearly went with a twice as expensive setup but glad I went with TP Links Deco setup. We have Cox and just disabled the WiFi output from their modem and connected the first unit to their Ethernet port. Setup was easy and you can quickly check the signal and remove network interference. The 3 band mesh works great using the 6Mhz band for “extra” traffic. We now get speedy WiFi all over the house where the Cox Pods were seemingly ineffective . We have an 1800sq ft two story house and used the 3 dock setup.

The initial setup was easy. For about two months it worked great, wifi speeds were amazing. Then after a firmware update the whole system went to crap. Constant issues, wifi dropping out, each deco would randomly disconnect from the rest of the system. I had it set up with an Ethernet backhaul and still had issues with connection stability. Finally gave up and switched to Ubiquiti

Bought this as a replacement for a 6-year old Netgear Orbi system. I’ve had the TP-Link Mesh System for almost a month now and am loving it. The app is amazing, the setup was easy and painless but I have two gripes with this product. The speed tends to drop quickly as you move between Decos, it’s not anything major and is still very fast. The other issue I have is the fact that there is a very limited web interface for this device and most advanced features are done through the app. However, the app is very easy and nicely laid out so it isn’t a huge deal.
I have 500Mbps Download and 25Mbps Upload and as long as you have full signal you’re good to go.

I’m three weeks into having switched to this mesh router and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve been an avid Netgear user for quite a while and this is the first time I’ve switched away from them. First and foremost, setup of this system was unbelievably easy. I’m fairly competent in setting up networking gear, helping family and friends reconfigure their home network and the process to setup this entire network was way faster than anything I’ve ever tried. I’ve got the network setup to communicate backend over wifi 6 since most of my devices are still on older chips. I have a plaster and lathe metal wall house and before struggled with getting signal in a majority of my house. I have 600/20 internet and was previously getting 120 down off of my old mesh network. Now I’m getting 350/20 on my nodes and full speed off of the base which is super impressive to me. I like that I can see the network health remotely without having to be on the home network and it shows fairly quickly what devices are connected and also whenever a new device connects, notifies me of it.
Aesthetically, my wife, who needed the system to at least look not ominous black, loves that it hides easily on shelves and doesn’t stand out.
Officially a fan.

This spring I realized my mesh network system was six years old -- and I wanted to bring things up to date. I not only got the trade-in discount, I was able to bring this Deco system home (XE75 Pro 3Pack), plug it in, and improve my wifi performance and coverage DRAMATICALLY. I went from sub-100mbs to nearly 500mbs on my 1 gb service from Xfinity. Amazing. And the coverage is outstanding... throughout our 3000 sqft-ish home on three levels.

Our house was struck by lightning Sunday 12/10/2023. Knocked out router, heat pump fuses, and thermostat controlled through router. Emergency purchase meant we had to buy TPLink mesh system since only those were in stock, and it had to be obtained before the heat pump man brought the new thermostat to program! We were to cheap to buy mesh 7ntil forced to, but we love it! Great coverage, hasn’t needed the constant rebooting of the old router, and isn’t an ugly spider looking monster on the wall. Just lovely little white cans with pretty night light green lights.

I’ve had these devices for about a month now and so far they seem to be working well in our 3300 square-foot house. We have one on each level connected wirelessly for now. All of our devices seem to work better with the new mesh. Eventually I plan to connect these via wired ethernet. I wish there was a better web portal for configuration but so far the app has been OK

Its super fast and has great range. I love that i can essentially upgrade my entertainment center or server farm to wifi 6e by just introducing one of these and plugging them in. It does not however have any sort of openvpn access like my old linksys but as a home wifi system its been exceptional. I have the 6e dedicated to the mesh function and I can have perfect wifi in a detached garage in another building 100' away. The steam link is also perfect when your wired to a hub that is wirelessly connected to another hub.

I have owned through the years various routers from Netgear to Lynksis and I got to say TP-Link has hit this one way out of the park. 1 Easy setup 2 flawless conectivity with existing devices in my home network. I've had this setup for a little over a month and the speed has not dropped, unlike my previous routers they couldn't hold a steady wireless speed. This router can handle up to 200 devices at ounce. Overall very good price, easy to set up, and a solid speed through the house. Also this one has the gigabit ports for future speeds.
