Nothing is what is expecting. Life delivers some great punch lines. We feed on our fears. Only when we get it, does it make us scream and laugh.

There will never be a television show quite like it. The way it combines qwerky cheesy humor with genuinely frightening imagery is jaw dropping. The Return doesn’t tie up all loose ends the orginal 1990 show ended with, and in fact it creates some new ones. But everything from the hilarious and frightening violence and imagery to the multiple story lines that come together in the end is executed perfectly. Also it has probably the best nuclear explosion scenes I’ve ever seen.

Promptly delivered by Amazon. An amazing tv series with much such depth and mystery. Check out the many internet videos discussing this show.

GREAT! HAVEN'T WATCHED IT ALL YET, WHAT I HAVE SEEN, IS REALLY GOOD STUFF.

We are now at a point where there are far too many “prestige” television shows for any one person to watch, or even pretend to keep up with. Leave it to David Lynch to redefine an entire medium AGAIN with this follow-up to the original Twin Peaks.

Hard to believe we waited over 25 years for the Return. For some it may seem incomplete or incredibly odd, but to us it was both wonderful and strange! The bluray edition is great, and I know we’ll return often

Twin Peaks is a classic television show, and season three doesn’t disappoint! The Blu Ray Boxset is amazing and comes with many many bonus features!

Great continuation of the original. So fun seeing the characters again. Transfer on blu ray is excellent as well.

Great and creepy show that will keep you entertained the entire time.

Twin Peaks changed the game in the early 90's, and it's done it again. Reminding folks just what the so called "peak era" TV can mean. If you're hoping for just a nostalgia rush and reminders of why you loved the original show - ala so many reboots and retreads of recent years - well you'll probably be disappointed. This is David Lynch's vision on heroin, and it's a real rush despite being occasionally self indulgent. The blu-ray looks and sounds PHENOMENAL. I was so disappointed with how much compression noise and how muddy the audio was thru the Showtime stream, that's not a problem here. Crystal clear, beautiful images, and a 96khz/24 bit 5.1 audio mix (Lynch himself was the sound designer, as he often is) and it has so much fidelity and depth. The bonus material? Outstanding! Hours of footage that just lets you watch Lynch and his cast/crew do their thing, so much fun.

Loved the original and definitely love this one too.

Best show on TV. I wish they would continue to amaze us

Great mind boggling series follow up to the original

This 3rd season of Twin Peaks, dubbed The Return, is a masterwork of avant-garde television cinema. It is almost unbelievable, the art twists and stage humor. Something so radically artistic, and entirely successful as entertainment product. Bravo to Frost and Lynch and their actors and their crew. Rancho Roserita all the way. I am wondering if, if this was included with the new Star Wars films, if we could say we are in a New Age, an age with heavy art to compete with and combat Europe strength in that department of culture.

What can I say about David Lynch & Twin Peaks? I have been a fan of his work for years. Either you love him or hate him. I LOVE HIM & HIS WORK. I was so thrilled to see a return to T.P. this last year that I subscribed to Showtime just to watch it! Had to order the Blu-ray as soon as it was available because anything David Lynch does is worth multiple viewings.He scored a touchdown again with Twin Peaks again. It's more "Lynch" than the original series, & that is such a welcome gift. At a time when Hollywood has NO original ideas anymore, he never fails to entertain me. Such a breath of fresh air in a stale world. TEN STARS!!! ************

I was very surprised to hear about the return of Twin Peaks several years ago. It was well worth the wait when it aired on Showtime last year, and I couldn't wait to pick up this blu ray edition! It is filled with wonderful special features; hours worth of materials that give you a deeper look into the Twin Peaks mythos. Audio and video are outstanding on the episodes, and the discs even combine certain episodes into mini movies while still giving you the option to watch them separately...a nice touch!! This set is a wonderful addition to the blu ray box set of the first 2 seasons and Fire Walk With Me.

The long awaited "3rd" season of Twin Peaks was essentially a new, long David Lynch film with elements of the previous series but many new strands that both irritate and fascinate viewers. I'm in the latter group. While much of the comedy from the earlier series is gone, there is a new coherency that was previously lacking and an otherworldly strangeness that makes this an essential item to consider. Nothing is definitively resolved nor should it be. Highly recommended to those who can accept this. Many fun behind-the-scenes bonuses on the Blu Ray.

After over 20 years, the classic Twin Peaks series returns but be warned: this isn’t what you might remember from the old series. It lacks the camp and goofball tone of the original. It is dark, bizarre and complex. It’s pure Lynch, untethered from the limits of network tv. It’s also superbly directed, written, and acted. Episode 8 is one of the best episodes of television to ever grace the small screen.
