Tried to fly the Typhoon H Plus, but couldn't I did everything I was supposed to do and it wouldn't respond to my command

This is my first "Drone", not my first R/C item though. I have been flying for years, but started looking at DJI, then decided on the Yuneec due to price and camera. I also wanted everything in one controller. This is very easy to fly and I like the fact it is larger so it is easy to see and the camera relays to the controller. I am sure some will complain about the 1 mile range, but until the rules change you really can't legally fly that far anyways. I bought it to do videos when I fly my plane or I go out on Car outings and after I get good at it I hope to make a little extra money. I really like that you can slow the drone down with the control wheel and literally make it as slow or as fast as you need to learn and to take those slow movement shots.

At first use it was easy enough for a novis user to operate. Once in the air I noticed a pretty big delay in reponce to movement from the controller that was a bit unsettling. It was fast though. The wireless connection for the camera was not great as well. It seems to rapidly degrade once the unit is around 100ft away and worse as it get further away. Overall it is a fun unit but I regret spending the money that I did on this one when I had a DJI unit that works much better for less than half the price.

I bought this drone to take pictures and it does that incredibly well. Video is sharp and stable. The aircraft is easy to fly and so far no issues. Do your homework ahead of time because the instructions are VERY thin. Lots of good resources online to make sure you are ready. My biggest disappointment with this is the ability to automate the flight. Basically only way to program or repeat a route is with the CCC and it's functionality is limited. If you need the awesome camera it is great, but if you want other features, I would say keep looking.

For a professional aerial camera platform at this price point, it might not get much better than the H Plus. The C23 camera is every bit of what they claim. Noteworthy I do not like the SD card location on the bottom of the camera. It flies steady and the speed adjustment on the controller is nice as you can dial it up to get on location and dial it down for precision movements. I did notice some altitude loss during hover below 15-ft. If you are coming from a quad-copter, you will notice that the H Plus is NOT as nimble. The H Plus has dropped Team Mode and Wizard support which is a huge disappointment as I was not aware of this. If you are wanting to track a subject autonomously (such as an automobile or your children at play) the subject will need to be in possession of the controller--HUGE downside. The lack of a GPS based mini map results in planned flight paths requiring a "dry run" flight to record way points. DJI products allow you to plot it on a GPS map. In summary, if you are looking for a pro-grade drone for professional photo/cinema work where the camera and airframe are the most important, the H Plus is a solid choice. On the other hand if you want more of a recreational drone, the H Plus lacks many of the advanced autonomous features available in other products. I will likely return this and grab the DJI Mavic 2 Pro. Being the owner of a DJI Phantom 4, I have realized that the feature set of the DJI products are a better fit for my needs and wants.

Great drone. Very stable and easy to fly. Landing gear retract giving full 360 degree camera view. 6 rotors with five rotor fail safe. Sweet camera and remote. Highly recommended.

Great flight stability and battery life... ...dropped out of the sky suddenly, plenty of battery, twice on me, ...on my 3rd one...Definitely purchase warranty!

I operate a fairly popular YouTube channel and this UAV has been extremely helpful with that. It has been my go to drone for over a year now. I've been able to take amazing footage and a year latter, I am still using my 4 original batterys (two came with it). It is worth buying.

Has an awesome camera. Easy to fly the controller is bulky but pretty intuitive.

this is my first drone so i do not have anything to compare it to but....it is awesome. easy to set up and operate. the quality of the video and camera is amazing. i highly recommend this unit.

I crashed it 2 times so it got sent out for repair already. It does take nice footage but be careful and read everything practice and read before you wreck it. More for an a advanced flyer not a beginner

This has turned out to be a fantastic hexacopter. It connects to the controller in under a minute. The controls are responsive and precise. Video quality is outstanding.

The H+ is a very stable camera drone that captures great video and photos with the 1" sensor. I really like having a built in display on the controller instead of having to use a tablet or phone. I definitely would not consider this a beginner drone/UAV. That being said the H+ is fantastic. I average about 15 minutes per battery, which is more than enough for the work I do with it. I recommend it!

This brand should be removed from Best Buy. I bought one and it was defective right out of the box. Returned it...next one defective also. Tried a third time...yep...this one has exact same problem as the last. I finally spoke to a supervisor at Yuneec and he said I should send it in for repair...my brand new drone needs repaired. He assured me they would expedite the service due to the bad experience. I found out they did NOT expedite the service as promised. I am still waiting for it to be returned. I bought the first drone 2 months ago. I have flown three times since then...one time each just to find out it was defective. And yet I still have to make payments on this thing and don’t even have a working one yet. Add to all this the fact that you can never reach anyone at Yuneec. You have to schedule a call. Also their inside sales is ALWAYS closed during their advertised business hours. Best Buy needs to address this company and decide if they should continue doing business with them. Yuneec makes a very faulty product and has completely horrible customer service. This purchase was a mistake...HUGE!

Horrible stability, horrible range. The mavic pro runs circles around it. I took it back.

This is my second yuneec drone, very good drone. I recommend this product to anyone who is inethd yuneec brand.

In my opinion this is a very well made aircraft. It is a low end professional drone with a very good excellent camera system.

Good drone for the money . Just did not like the fact you have to upgrade download and reprogram drone out of the box.

The camera footage is breath taking a good buy for those open land trips!
