A: AnswerLast night 8/25 I hooked up DVD player and type password for Wi Fi. Download all the lists of Apps. There's about 42 Apps but did not show Amazon Prime. It shows youtube, tubi, TMZ, netflix, etc. No - did not have Amazon Prime.Answered by Mikenstein

A: AnswerYes, but this is very important. The play button which is above the pause and stop buttons may not always work with some DVDs. You might get an incompatible message on the screen. However, the solution is to press the middle button in the black square above above the HOME button. I don't know why this works, but it does. I can play all my DVDS.Answered by Anonymous
- A: AnswerYou can download Sony DVD player app on your phone and use it. DVD player must be connected to the internet and on the same network as your phone. Lost mine and used my phone as the main remote for years.

- A: AnswerThis player can only connect audio and video to a TV via HDMI. It can connect to the internet vía WiFi to download and run apps but does not have the ability to wirelessly transmit audio and video.

Plays Blu-rays and DVD's perfectly.
So far this Sony Blu-ray player works great for DVD's and Blu-ray discs. No problems with this function, which was my reason for purchasing. The remote control is rather small, but works fine. The box claims it has "various streaming services." I find them to be very limited. Netflix, VUDU, Pandora, and YouTube function. The other ones listed seem to be unavailable. I checked for updates to the system but there are none at this time. ( It does not replace the ROKU.) If you are purchasing it only to play your discs, it is great. Clear, sharp picture with good color.

First Blu-Ray player
First Blu-Ray player, upgraded from a Sony DVD player, easy to setup, easy to connect to the internet. Big plus that this came with a HDMI cable. Great picture with DVD also, highly recommend!
