This works as advertised. I had a little difficulty getting the system to use the "wired" backbone feature but that turned out to be an issue with an 8 port 10/100/1000 unmanaged switch I was using to send the ethernet to the 2 Deco M9 units that were the access points. I don't know why but once I replaced that unmanaged switch with an old, 4 port managed switch everything worked fine.
I like the fact that my TP Link Kasa smart home devices all integrate well with this system.
The security isn't the most robust and tech savvy IT people might not like the lack of control for some of the settings but overall it is easy to get up and going.

I had a extender for my WIFI. It didn't work very well. My husband herd Clark Howard talk about the mesh system.
We bought this set. AMAZING is all I can say. Plus you can add more of these it need be. We have coverage everywhere now. Great investment.

Great product! Did a lot of research for what would be the best solution to get better wireless coverage for my house. Concerned I would go to cheap or spend unnecessarily. A network co-worker recommended the M5 he had used at a church and I took a look at it. Best Buy recommended the M9 as it newer technology. Turned out it is right on the money! My wireless network speeds are over 10X faster and I have coverage from my backyard to the sidewalk out front. If you want something simple and provide great coverage this is the product! Doesn't offer a ton of advanced control over your network but for managing a straight home network its perfect. Couldn't be more pleased with my choice.

About a year ago I bought a two pack for my home. Works great!
This month I bought a two pack for my in-laws home and they're working great!
I also bought a 3 pack for the office as a second wifi network just for the laptop users. Connected the main one to an existing TP-Link Archer AC1750 and placed the two satellites in different offices. Everything is working great!
I really like the M9+ mesh system. Easy to install/setup with the app. Coverage is fantastic!

Consumer's Reports top rated Mesh router, note this is the M9 plus, not the cheaper and slower M5. Easy to setup and each unit has 2 ethernet ports. Best if can use ethernet connection between units but wifi backhaul is acceptable, just have to use up an 5Mhz channel.

I bought these to replace my Netgear Night Hawk router and extender. It was easy to set up and works as advertised. I think I have better coverage then my old Netgear system and less trouble to use.

The Deco M9 Plus is easy to install and operate. The range of WiFi coverage expanded to the whole house and our detached work shop 100 feet from the house. Great product.
