A:AnswerAll Aluratek webcams are plug and play. If you are running an older computer (like Windows 7) then you may need to update your drivers for Windows, but not for the Aluratek. Be sure to reboot your computer a few times to clean out cache. Also check your Privacy settings so that the external webcam is allowed to run. Windows users should test the device on the CAMERA app, and Mac OS users should test the device on Photo Booth. If you are running Google Chrome OS contact us at [email protected]. I have instruction for Chrome OS setup.
A:AnswerWe do not sell a lens cover for this particular webcam, however you may find one that will work from a 3rd-party vendor on Amazon or elsewhere.
A:AnswerYour computer needs to be grounded better. Also check with your local internet provider on speed. The buzzing is due to the internal mic not being grounded as the sound comes into the machine. It may be picking up other frequencies as well.
A:AnswerIf I remember correctly, the 2018 Macbook Pro only has USB-C ports so you would have to get a USB-C Port Hub as the webcam uses USB 3.0, you can look right at BestBuy for a good amount of options but Amazon would definitely have some too lol
