Q: QuestionI’m trying to upload my videos to my laptop but my laptop won’t upload them. What converter app is best to upload these videos?

• A:Answer You should be able to upload your files to your computer if you connect the SD card directly to the computer using an SD card adapter. An alternative to that is to download GoPro's Quik for Desktop app which will allow you to import directly from the camera. Note that Quik for Desktop is a legacy software that is no longer being developed, but it is still available for download.

Q: QuestionCan you shoot 24fps with this camera?

• A:Answer The HERO7 Silver can shoot at 30 fps or 60 fps in NTSC settings. If you switch to PAL settings, you can shoot at 25 fps or 50 fps. For 24 fps in NTSC, you'll want to get the HERO7 Black, or a HERO8 or HERO9 model.

Q: QuestionWill this camera screw into a mount that is on my snowmobile helmet? I don't trust the adhesive mount in freezing temps.

• A:Answer If it's a standard 1/4" screw, you may need an adapter that will convert that attachment to the standard GoPro mounting system. GoPro makes a mount called a Tripod Mount that may be what you're looking for.

• A:Answer I would say yes, I have the hero black 8 and it can record while plugged into a power bank. Not sure if it'll run with the battery out though. I'd just leave the battery in, it'll stay juiced up while you're recording.

Q: QuestionCan the Hero7 be plugged into the usb charging cord to run continuously on DC power (cigarette lighter) while filming to somewhat bypass the battery's short life? I use a camera on a motorcycle, this only limits the length of time the SD card can record.

• A:Answer It's good, not great. I made an instructional video for work, and ended up recording over it with audio recorded separately. Background noise was the killer for me, so if you are vlogging in a quiet environment it may not be as bad. I haven't researched, but i would imagine you can get a separate mic for the GoPro that will make things much better.
