QuestionHow much cleaning olution do you need to use in this model?

- Answer There is a compartment separate from the water tank. I bought the 64oz bottle 2Xs strength solution for around $15. There is a fill to this line indicated on the tank. I just filled it to that line, I’m unsure of how much solution it actually is. My best educated guess would be somewhere around 6-8 oz.

- Answer For the most part, yes. If you catch it fresh and blot up as much as you can with paper towels before using the machine. If the stain has set, it's about 50/50 on whether you can get the entire stain out or not. Just make sure you buy a cleaning solution that is specifically made for pet stains. I also pre-treat the set-in stains and that seems to help some.

- Answer It did not damage in any visible way a shag rug or wall to wall carpet when I used it. Only dirt seemed to accumulate in the brush bristles, not carpet fibers.

- Answer You probably have hair wound around the brushes from your carpet. A good vacuuming before cleaning will cut down on them clogging the brushes. The brushes do have to be cleaned out occasionally.

QuestionWhat accessories are included?I was looking at this exact same carpet cleaner on Amazon, and in its description of accessories that come with the carpet cleaner, there's a lot more listed? For this carpet cleaner there's only a crevice tool and upholstery tool included, but the one on Amazon includes the crevice tool, upholstery tool, stair tool, spinscrub powered hand tool, 8' hose and mesh storage bag. I checked the number and they're the exact same carpet cleaner, so does the one here on Best Buy not come with all those extras like the one on Amazon?

QuestionHow do you rinse the stairs when using the stair attachment? Instructions only give info on shampoo and dry strokes, not rinsing after. You surely don’t leave all that shampoo sitting in the carpet.

- Answer There is a setting on the tank to just spray water as a rinse. After spraying shampoo and vacuuming the sudsy water, spray the rinse water and vacuum it up.
