- Answer It means that the computer was used for a period of time and then returned. It could be because there was a defective part, or the computer wasn't a good fit for the person, or it was a leased model that was returned at the end of the lease. A refurbisher goes through and replaces any parts that are no longer within factory specs, and then resells the computer.

QuestionI want/need a laptop that has a CD/DVD drive because of my use of Programs/applications on CD's. I notice that most, if not all of, the newer laptops don't feature a CD/DVD drive. Why is that? How would I use my CD's/DVD's when there is no drive?

- Answer Hello. Thanks for your question. If a laptop does not have a CD/DVD drive, you can use an external USB CD/DVD drive.

- Answer This would be great for school. You could do light gaming with this laptop. Most modern games like Minecraft, Fortnite and most other popular titles require a lot of power. For this reason, I would recommend a model with a dedicated Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) for gaming.

QuestionThis says 1.6 Ghz cpu speed, but when I googled the i5 cpu, it says 2.6 ghz, w/ turbo boost up to 3.0. Please tell me which is correct. Thank You!

- Answer This HP laptop- 17-by0021dx does have the Intel Core i5-7200U (2.5 GHz base frequency, up to 3.1 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, 3 MB cache, 2 cores). The base speed of the processor is 2.5 GHz. and then when the laptop needs the extra speed it will automatically go into the turbo boose speed of 3.1 GHz.
