Q: QuestionCan you plug into tv that does not have bluetooth, and use as an extra speaker for better, louder sound for the tv ?

• A:Answer JBL said earlier that it could connect with Aux connection as well. Now I am really confused.

• A:Answer Thanks for the review. The battery of our JBL Flip 5 will not overcharge. There is no harm in leaving your portable speaker connected to electricity at all times. You can simply pick it up, unplug it from the charger and be on your way, knowing that you have a full charge. However, if you’d like to conserve electrical energy, disconnect from charging. Q: QuestionSo what does it connect to just a cell phone? I need to hear my TV news from across the room, it currently sounds muffled from 20 feet away, no matter how lout the volume. I currently use a head set, but the warmth on my ears, puts me to sleep.

• A:Answer Our JBL Flip 5 speaker has an auto-off feature that will allow it t turn off by itself to save power when it no longer receives a signal. There is no way to disable this feature.

• A:Answer No, the Flip 5 uses/has PartyBoost which is not compatible with the Connect+ mode of the Flip 4. The Flip 5 will only pair with other speakers with PartyBoost.

• A:Answer The JBL Flip 5 is rated IPX 7 waterproof rating which means that it can only be submerged in water as deep as 3 feet for up to 30 minutes. Anything longer than that may cause damage for the speakers.
