QuestionWill my Samsung pedestal fit with this LG washer?

- Answer The LG front loading clothes washer DOES NOT fit the Samsung pedestals. They are the exact same size, but the feet for the washer are in a different place than the Samsung feet are. They are off by less than an inch and we busted our pedestal trying to make it work. The idea of using the 2X4's with drilled out cup holes for the feet is the best idea I have seen because it keeps the washer from walking. Make a template to make sure it is perfectly drilled out in the proper place and you should be happy with its functiionability altho you may have to paint the 2x4's to match if you have any color other than white, (it could be a challenge.).

QuestionDoes the finish on the door (spray grey or whatever it is) chip off? I am wondering if it is worth paying extra for stainless steel door trim? However, even that gets scratched, etc.

- Answer Don't even bother. These new washing machines are designed to fail in 5-6 years. Get the cheapest one. Be it Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Kenmore, etc... they will last you about 5-6 years before it will intentionally fail by design. Look up in google: "washer spider arm failure" Buy the cheapest model possible, so when it goes, you buy another, at the same cost of one bell and whistle model. Don't think because you spend $1200 on a washer it will last longer than 5 - 6 years, all of these garbage models use the same known intentional failure point, the aluminum spider arm which degrades over time, to the point of failure with normal use of 5-6 years. Both the washer and dryer have the same height of 38 11/16" so when stacked, the combined weight (i.e. 38 11/16" x 2) will be 77 3/8"...^IFV

- Answer My installer told me that only the dryer door could be adjusted. The washer door hinges on the left, as you are facing the unit.

- Answer The detergent dispenser drawer of the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Front Load Washer with ColdWash™ Technology, Model # WM3270CW has a dispenser compartment for each detergent type and each detergent to type can be added to its appropriate compartment. If you use a liquid detergent, check to make sure that the liquid detergent cup is in place. f you use a powdered detergent, remove the liquid detergent cup and put the powder in the main wash detergent compartment. Laundry Soap pods have to be added directly into the tub before your laundry. Do not place them in the detergent dispenser drawer (see page 20 of your owner's manual)...^IFV

- Answer Error code CL shows when the child lock feature has been activated. This feature locks the controls to prevent children or others from changing the cycle settings by pressing the buttons during the cycle. The feature does not lock the door. Once the washer has shut off, the Power button allows the machine to be turned on, but the controls are still locked. Press and hold the Pre Wash button for three seconds to disable Child Lock. ^CP

- Answer how close is your washer to your dryer? Mine clackety clacks on spin if I didn't have something soft stuffed in-between. Guess that's why LG recommends 4" distance.

- Answer The was cycles depend on the setting and weight of the clothes. Yes it weighs the clothes. There is a 25 minute quick wash cycle but using cottons and perm press cycles, they are about 50+ minutes. I have not used the delicate cycle yet but there is a setting.

QuestionI want to use the cold water to save on energy but I have noticed when the cycle is over I pull clothes out and the cloth feel hot. Does it mean it’s still using hit water even though u programmed to cold water?

- Answer Hello, if the clothing is hot, we recommend you check to make sure the input water lines are not reversed. LG's hot and cold inlet valves are on opposite sides than other brands and thus can be the result of you clothing in taking the incorrect water. ^AC
