Q: QuestionDoes anyone else get a popping or crackle from the subwoofer? Just updated and now it is worse... it's random... really kind of annoying :(

• A:Answer I have had this soundbar for under three weeks and I am getting the same problem. The subwoofer is making popping sounds and overall sound distortion. It is so bad that I disconnected it until I can get it checked out.

• A:Answer The LG Music Flow 4.1-Ch. Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer, Model # SH7B does not support 4K passthrough, but you can work around that by streaming 4K from an app built into your TV, rather than from an external source. Streaming is by far the most common (and the cheapest) way to get 4K content today, and most 4K TVs have 4K-capable versions of Netflix, Amazon and other apps built-in. When you use such an app, you can get audio from the TV back down to your receiver with an optical digital audio connection, which nearly all 4K TVs have or you can use the HDMI ARC port if your TV has one...^IFV

• A:Answer yes i has an auto on/off option. it will turn on when it detects a signal and off after a while of not detecting one.

• A:Answer Funny the official LG answer is wrong! Although you cannot wire 3rd party You CAN use LG music flow speakers such as H3 H5 or H7 using the Musicflow App to link them as surround rears. I have done this with 2 H5 speakers. This is officially supported easy to do and can be found on their website.

Q: QuestionHello I have a SH7B but I have 2 SPH7B wireless subwoofers. I want to connect both, but If it can only connect to one Bluetooth device and multi pairing isn't accepted Then how can I add a wireless surround sound. Can't the SPH7B replace the H5??

• A:Answer Bluetooth pairing on the LG 360W 4.1ch Music Flow Wi-Fi Streaming Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer, Model # SH7B is limited to "One" Bluetooth device, Multi-pairing is not supported. The Bluetooth module in this unit is a receiver and will receive Bluetooth signals from other Bluetooth devices that are compatible with the A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) that transmit Bluetooth signals. It does not transmit Bluetooth signals so you cannot pair Bluetooth Headphones to it since Bluetooth Headphones are also receivers and not transmitters. ^CP

Q: QuestionI just purchased this soundbar yesterday and when I hooked it up to my television it sounds nothing like the one in the store. I used the optical cable to connect it to my television. Wondering if I am doing something wrong.

• A:Answer Make sure you have it set to the proper setting on your TV set. Usually you go to options and under sound there will be an option on where the sound is played. By default it's the tv speaker but it should have an optical out option. From there you should find different options you can tinker with and alter to make it sound the way you want.

Q: QuestionAre you able to dim or turn-off the LED input screen on the front of the speaker unit? I bought the SH5B and i cant be dimmed (atleast i cant figure out how) and its very distracting... Ill upgrade to this if you can turn off the small screen....

• A:Answer The LG 360W 4.1ch Music Flow Wi-Fi Streaming Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer, Model # SH7B has an Auto Display Off/Dimmer feature that when activated, will darken the display if there is no key input detected for 15 seconds for units connected via Optical, HDMI or the HDMI ARC ports. It will also darken if no key input is detected for 15 seconds in the Wi-Fi, Portable or BT (Bluetooth) functions. The feature can be deactivated if you do not want the display to dim...^IFV

Q: QuestionWhat limitations does not having 4k passthrough present do a 4k TV owner? Does it mean that I can't use the sound bar when programming goes UHD?

• A:Answer It means that if you have a 4K blueray player or a Roku (or any other 4K device that outputs 4k running to the SoundBar through HDMI ARC then the sound bar will output that video to the TV in 1080P rather than 4K. Your TV will most likely upscale the picture back to 4K but it still won't look as good. The best way to hook this up is going to be to use an optical cable. and run all your devices directly to the TV if you want to retain true 4K content. (Granted those devices output a native 4K signal).

Q: QuestionI have the soundbar connected to my LG TV via optical cable. Every time I turn on the TV/Soundbar, the Soundbar volume is at zero. Is there a way to have the startup volume at a normal listening level?

• A:Answer There might be a setting on your tv causing it to do that. Mine is connected to a ViZio via optical cable and starts off where it left off.

Q: QuestionI have a Samsung Q7 tv and on most channels the sound from the soundbar is not in sync with the TV picture. When I listen to the sound from the tv and not from the soundbar the picture is in sync. The tv adjustment for this does not help.

• A:Answer Best Buy told me the optical cord that came with the sound bar is no good and I should buy a more expensive one. Before I did that I hooked it up using the hdmi arc connection on the tv and sound bar and that fixed the problem. I stil need to contact lg support for some of the other settings.
