A:AnswerThere is a numbers lock key, it is located above the number 7 on the number keypad and is labeled Clear / lock symbol. In addition I discovered that the opt/ start button located below the Z on the main keyboard serves as the Windows button.
Hope this helps,
A:AnswerI have never turned mine off. It goes into a sleep mode, and I haven't noticed any battery life hits. I charge mine every two weeks as a matter of habit.
A:Answerno, they are built in and not replaceable. It charges really fast, I think a 15min charge will give you a few hours of use. but you can also use it while charging from USB-C so no downtime from work.
A:AnswerThat's the power level indicator. Green is regular level, red means it needs to be charged, the rest of the time during use, it shouldn't illuminate at all. If you're using the Logitech Options software, it should tell you the power level as well.
A:AnswerThe connection with the USB cable is for charging. The first connection uses the Logitech Unifying USB plug and is wireless. Connections 2 & 3 are for Bluetooth and will need a computer with Bluetooth or a Bluetooth adapter to connect.
A:AnswerSteve, The cord is a USB-C. It's fairly standard these days. If you use Ipad Pro (2018 or newer) or any recent model samsung phone, and a bunch of other devices. The plug is oval shaped. Here is a link to a 4' option from Best Buy: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-4-usb-type-a-to-usb-type-c-charge-sync-cable-black/5439801.p?skuId=5439801
Hope this helps!
A:AnswerI never managed to install the Logitech software (it drove my display crazy) even after several tries, but I'm having no problem using the keyboard without that software. So far as I know, the only thing I'm missing is key reprogramming, and I don't miss that because I have no particular use for it.
A:AnswerI had the same issue with this and other keyboard. I have both the pink mini version of this and the full black version. MMMMMMMMMMakes it extremelyyyy hard to work witttttttth.
^ as sampled from above. It's not just a few keys, it's all of them randomlyyy. Otherwise reeeeally great.
A:AnswerHello AV8ORS! The MX Keys doesn't have a USB pass through port on the keyboard no, but you can connect it to the computer via Bluetooth (you can connect it on up to 3 devices), which would free up the port on the computer for you to connect your Trackball's Unifying receiver.
