QuestionDoes the thermal carafe have a hot plate like the glass carafe does? The bottoms look different

- Answer There is no hot plate. Since the carafe keeps the coffee warm much longer than it takes to consume the contents, a hot plate is not necessary. The advantage being there is no hot plate to unintentionally place your hand on. Great purchase, great coffee - we love it!

QuestionDoes the thermal carafe keep the coffee hot enough for at least an hour?

- Answer If you preheat the carafe with hot water before brewing coffee into it the coffee will stay hotter longer but not or an hour. Best bet would be 30 minutes for hot coffee.

- Answer I have only used the reuseable filter it came with. However, you can use filters, but they are not standard ones. I find grounds at the bottom of my cups/pot so i will be looking into filters.

- Answer I’m sure you could probably find it on a 3rd party site. But I wouldn’t do that because the glass carafe comes with a warming plate which should not be used with the thermal carafe.

- Answer Espresso is made using high pressure. This is just a very strong coffee. Cheaper and I can't tell the difference when I make specialty drinks

- Answer Hello, We do apologise, but the Ninja - Coffee Bar Brewer with Thermal Carafe does not have a water filter. With this being said, it does have a clean function. While using a coffee machine descaler you can run a clean cycle to rid the machine of any calcium build up. We recommend running a clean cycle every 100 brews. We hope this information helps. - Answer It's pretty hot. Stays hot in Carafe for 2 hours. Follow instruction to maintain hotness, like running hot water in mug or carafe before filling.

QuestionI just bought this coffemaker . Compared to the kierig, this seems to take long to make a single cup. I timed it and on classic brew it took 4 mins and 40 seconds for 1 cup. Is this right? Or is mine defective?
