QuestionDoes anyone else have a problem with crackling and pops when listening to voice mail and making calls, or did I get a defective unit?

- Answer I have the same issue and have replaced the headset 3 times with the same result unfortunately. The latest and greatest looks like the most expensive and poorest quality as well. This headset has constant breakup when on a call and the call quality is very bad. Time to look for a different solution after years of using plantronics, it seems that someone dropped the ball on the 5200 UC headset.

- Answer Great question and this is one of the 5220's biggest improvements I think over the Voyager Legend which required a proprietary charger. It charges with any Micro USB charger!

- Answer I called their customer service to ask the same question. When I heard "no" I told them their pictures are deceiving. They also should have an answer for "What is in the box". FYI for the 203500-01(Standard) the items in the box are: Headset, Get Started Guide, Safety booklet, Warranty insert, Small, medium, and large ear tips, USB to micro USB charge cable

QuestionIt is advertised as having 7 hours talk time but I can only get 6 hours maximum, Is it defective?

- Answer I drive oil trucks 12 hours a day and it never dies and I'm on and off the phone all day long, try only having the bluetooth setting on your phone set to call and not media, unless you need to hear every single sound your phone makes, if that doesn't work it might be

QuestionHow does this feel wearing glasses and/or sunglasses? Does your ear get sore after a while? Having small ears and glasses sometimes is a problem finding a headset that is comfortable.

- Answer You can wear it while also wearing glasses. Unfortunately the comfort is subjective to the wearer. I find it comfortable using both, but not everyone may.

- Answer Out of the box the headset comes set to be worn on your right ear but you can easily move the headset's microphone boom and pivot to change it to be worn on your left ear.

QuestionIs this an "on-ear" earpiece or does part of it go in your ear? Will it work well with my glasses? I always wear glasses so I would guess that an on ear model would work best? The arms of my glasses wrap tightly around my ear/head, they are not loose.

- Answer The earpiece wraps around the top of your ear with the ear piece sitting at the opening of you ear canal. I am a glasses wearer and have found this headset works well for me. I have multiple pairs of glasses with varying profiles and thickness in the arms.

QuestionCan anyone tell me if the range is substantially further than the legend? It looks like it is supposed to be almost triple the range of the previous versions. I just want to know if it's true? Thanks.

- Answer I found that the range is identical to the Legend with all of my phones. The extended range would only be applicable to Bluetooth devices that use the higher power protocol, which eats more device battery power.........phones tend to want to give maximum battery life, so they typically use only the lower power 33 foot protocol. A UC Bluetooth, the type you plug into the PC, would allow the higher power, so you could walk around 100 feet away in an office or home and chat through VoiP services.

QuestionHow do I change the earbud? It turns, but when I pull up on it it does not come off. I cannot get the existing one off.

- Answer You need to apply slight pressure to the base of the ear bud and then turn it. When you do this you will feel it slide over the notch that will let you remove it.

Charging issues with Bluetooth headsets can be a problem caused by the power source, cable or the product itself (it can be the charging connector or the battery on some cases). - Answer Not sure this is fully applicable, but my wife just purchased this headset and paired it with both her cell phone (Pixel) and her laptop for use with soft phone calls (Microsoft Teams). Says it works really well. The only drawback in her mind is that you can be on a Teams call and receive a cell call - a bit confusing as to how to place one on hold.

QuestionWhen charging is there a light that should stay on while charging? I tried charging it but there is a red light flashes two or three times and then stops. I bought the warranty should i take it back and get a new one. Thank you for your response

- Answer The flashing light is normal,it's blinks fast 2 or 3 times then go to sleeping mode WHILE IS charging, a full 6 hours charge is accomplished in 15 -20 minutes. Is the best less expensive. Make sure you buy the 2 or 3 years extended warranty, it's worthy. I have MY FOR 5 years now. Best of luck. Angel santana, from weston florida.
