QuestionIf the rear speakers are wireless then why do you still need speaker wire to connect them? Do you connect the “wired” speakers to a wireless module?

- Answer Hi Brian - The HW-Q65T Rear Speakers connect to the wireless module, which allows you to place these three units in the back of your room. One wire is required to connect each rear speaker to the wireless module. Then plug in the power cable to the module. The “wireless” convenience is in connecting your soundbar and any other speakers at the front of the room to the rear speakers – this can now be done via Wi-Fi through the wireless module, eliminating any clutter of long wires running the length of your room. ^Gina

QuestionHow does this connect to my tv? We have a 65” Samsung as well. Does it use the USB ports on the back?

- Answer There are several ways to connect. I used a optical cable to connect from the back of the TV to the soundbar. You can also use HDMI cables. You can do it wirelessly with bluetooth - but the sound quality is not as good as optical or HDMI cables. Once the cable was connected my 2 year old Samsung TV 'talked' to the soundbar and they setup the connection without and involvement by me.

QuestionDoes this speaker have Dolby Atmos? I was told by the sales rep it did, but I’m not seeing anywhere on Samsung’s website that confirms this.

- Answer Hi Dave! The HW-Q65T does not support Dolby Atmos. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will get this corrected. Dolby Atmos support begins with our 2021 HW-Q600A Soundbar and above. ^Gina

QuestionOur subwoofer and surround speakers randomly cut in and out. Is there some way to fix this? I checked all cords and it is both the surround and the subwoofer.

- Answer Make sure your WiFi routers has some distance from your speakers. The WiFi and Bluetooth signals clash and make it drop in and out. Worked for me, but router was right next to speaker. Now it’s across the room and my issue is resolved

QuestionSoundbar not connecting with HDMI ARC, it worked for a month and stopped working, tried different things like checked with different HDMI cable still same, HDMI port on TV is good, anyone had similar issue, any advise.

QuestionIs there a way to increase center channel volume only? While watching a movie during non-action scenes, I have to turn up the volume to hear dialog. However, as soon as action or music begins, the system is very loud and I have to turn volume down.

- Answer Hi Emfivemore! You cannot adjust the center channel individually, however you can try to manually optimize your sound quality with the following steps: Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.) ^Tim

QuestionIf you want to hook up the speakers with wire instead of wireless, do you have that option?

- Answer Hi Jay! The rear speakers included with the HW-Q65T will wire to a transmitter base which is then wireless to the soundbar. You cannot wire the speakers direct into the soundbar. ^Tim

QuestionCan I put the soundbar on the same dresser as the tv just a few inches forward without having to worry about the magnets in the soundbar affecting the tv (color distortion)?

QuestionI just purchased the Sherif 65" and Q65t. I cannot adjust the rear speaker volume. The settings on the remote makes no difference in rear volume. Anyway to adjust it?

- Answer 1. Set the Settings on your Tv under Sounds and set it Sorround Sound 2. On the Soundbar remote control > Setting button > press it once and select Rear Speakers and click it again until it shows “on”, click the setting button again and it would show “sound level” click the button again until it shows Rear Speakers, click the up/down button on the remote to reach “6” level

- Answer The q series tv and sound bar system where made to interact with each other creating the 7.1 channel. It utilizes the tv speakers to make it 7.1 channel. I have it on a q60 tv and works great.

QuestionDoes this soundbar have SpaceFit Sound? I know it has Q-Symphony, so far not overall impressed but was thinking the SpaceFit Sound feature on my new Samsung Q8BA QLED 75" might help. Just have a difficult time finding this option on with the HW-Q65T 7.1

- Answer Hi Josh! The HW-Q65T is not compatible with Dolby Atmos. QuestionI am buying a new tv with hdmi 2.1 port for my xbox series x and my question is do I need a new soundbar with eARC and does THIS soundbar have eARC? I'm just not sure what will work and what won't.. my current soundbar setup is ARC right now.

- Answer Hi Jess! eARC technology provides support for uncompressed surround sound formats such as Dolby Atmos. While you can still utilize Dolby Atmos through standard ARC with Dolby Digital+, you will want to utilize eARC when available for the best audio experience. The HW-Q65T does not feature HDMI ARC compatibility. Check out Samsung's A series soundbars models Q600A or above for eARC support. ^Tim

QuestionDoes the subwoofer connect to the sound bar or does it connect to the Bluetooth multi connection with the rear speakers?

- Answer Hi Doug! The subwoofer will automatically connect to the soundbar directly when both devices are plugged in and turned on for the first time. The rear speakers will each wire to a transmitter base which is wireless direct to the soundbar. ^Tim
