- Answer Not that I am aware of. Nothing came in the box except a “book” in a 100 languages of how to install. Probably something online. If you are looking to back up your system or certain files find the drive either “D” or “E” depending on the number of drives in your computer and direct them to save on it. May I suggest making a separate folder in it “the SSD” to make finding suck files easier in the future.

- Answer Yes! This will work with Time Machine! It will come formatted for Windows, but when you connect it to your iMac and choose it from the Select Disk button in the Time Machine utility, it will offer to reformat the drive for Time Machine backups. (Make sure you pick the correct drive and that it doesn’t contain any valuable data before you reformat).

QuestionI have a media player that does not recognize the drive at all. Does it need to be formatted differently from how it comes out of the box? I have other non-ssd drives that work fine. MP3s, VOBs, AVIs, MP4s, all play on these "hard drives".
