- A: AnswerNever mind this question. After a little bit of research, it looks like the issues with SanDisk's SSDs may in fact be a hardware issue and not something that can be resolved with a firmware update. There are several class action law suits currently in place against Western Digital, SanDisk's parent company, regarding this current line up of SSDs. Please disregard my previous question, I will not be trusting any of my data, new or repetitive to SanDisk's most recent line of SSDs.

FAST af and super portable
this thing is FAST fast. I had no idea they made them this fast tbh. it's also extremely small. The cable it comes with is super short just FYI but hey at least it's included.

Lightning fast
I really like the SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable 4TB I bought. It's super fast at moving files, has a lot of space, and it's tough too. I can take it with me wherever I go, and it's perfect for people who need a good portable storage option. It's definitely a reliable choice.

Time and space saver
It is fast and small. I do a lot of GoPro videos that are 50 to 80 gig each and needed to move them on and off my computer for more space. Time is the biggest factor for me. I ran out of hard drive space while I was on vacation, and this got me out of a jam quickly!
