- Answer THE ANSWER IS INCORRECT. If you use the menus to clear all of your call history, it does NOT clear missed calls. They still remain up there, unwanted. Please answer the question correctly. Is there a way to delete missed calls? If not, they will eventually fill up memory. Is there a limit to the number of missed calls that will be displayed? Thank you in advance for your attention to this.

- Answer NO! I cannot find such an option. This is a HUGE problem for my 87-yr-old mother. I wish I saw this comment before we bought it. I *specifically* bought this New "Lively FLIP" cell phone (formerly called Jitterbug) assuming one would be connected to the caller when the flip top was opened. But no--- she has to 1) first flip open the cover AND then 2) find the "OK" button AND then 3) press the "OK" button (a non-descript button buried in the third row). She has a hard time with this. They could have at least made the "OK" button larger and/or Green. WTH! As such, she's unable to answer calls. NOT GOOD - as I now have to leave work & drive to her house to make sure she is ok (she had a bad fall last month). With her previous flip phone there was an immediate connection once the top was flipped open. The inability to EASILY answer a phone call is a major deal breaker for me. This phone is going back- such a huge waste of my time & money. This is NOT an "easy-to-use" cell phone for the elderly.

QuestionDoes the Lively Flip have a better speakerphone than the Jitterbug flip? What about the sound quality? I bought my Mom the Jitterbug flip but the sound quality was so poor she couldn't use it - wondering if the new Lively Flip is any better?

- Answer I have it on the maximum volume and the sound quality is still very weak - I have good hearing and compared to my iphone, the sound quality is just horrible - considering that this phone is designed for seniors who generally have hearing difficulties, one would think more effort would have gone into the design of the phone to ensure superior sound quality.

- Answer The Lively has upgraded some specs and adds Alexa. But since it removed speed dial and Alexa integration is buggy and requires a multi step conversation to make a call, the original Jitterbug is a better option for those less technical or vision-impaired. After trying to make it work, I had to switch my mom back to the Jitterbug.

- Answer They are similar, but the Lively is much more complicated for what should be simple things. Don't believe those saying they are the same; you will be sorely disappointed!

- Answer Hello, the Lively Flip phone does not have the speed dial option however, the phone does allow you to set favorites and emergency contacts for faster access to phonebook entries.

You can turn off (or lock) the volume buttons on the side of the phone if you keep accidentally pressing them. From the Main Menu, select Settings and press the OK button. Select Volumes & Sounds and press the OK button. Select Volumes and press the OK button. Select Lock Buttons and press the OK button. Select Yes to lock the volume buttons or No to unlock them and press the OK button. Thank you for the suggestions and we are actively working on having the ability to answer the phone by opening it.

- Answer When you activate a new Lively Flip phone, there is an account that is created for you and a monthly recurring charge based on the plan you choose during the activation process. There is a one-time activation fee of $35.00. If you activate online, then the fee will be discounted to $25.00. To lock the exterior volume buttons on the Lively Flip, from the Main Menu, select Settings and press the OK button, select Volumes & Sounds and press the OK button, select Volumes and press the OK button, select Lock Buttons and press the OK button, select Yes to lock the volume button or No to unlock them, and press the OK button.

- Answer Hi Nick, we are so glad you asked that question! Once you activate your new Lively Flip phone an account is created for you and a monthly recurring charge based on the plan that you choose during the activation process. A phone number will be assigned to you as well, however, Lively does give the option to transfer your cell or home phone number, as long as your number is still available. There are instructions on how to do so included with the box -- just make sure you do not cancel your previous service until the transfer is complete.

- Answer No..I have the newest Jitterbug Smart 3 cell phone, and after 1 whole week of tech support from Lively Smart, even with remote control, they connected me with their top tech, and after two days waiting for a reply to my problem he said this phone is not wifi enabled. Even though phone is built with the capacity for wifi, the company Lively Smart which is a trademark of BEST BUY most probably decided to not enable this function in order to be able to collect more revenue with only cellular connection capabilities. If you live remotely as I do and there is no cellular tower available, and you depend upon wifi to make and receive phone calls and texts you are out of luck, even though this phone is an excellent one.
