• A:Answer I was told by BestBuy over the phone that they did not fix printers in-store, nor could they help me online with printer problems. The person I spoke with, first an agent and then when I asked for a manager, I spoke to Will - he told me that any printer repair would have to be done in my home. Someone is scheduled to come out and fix my printer on 12/2, but even with your Tech Suppor Plan, now I even have to pay a $49.99 charge for them to come to my home. This is unfair that Best Buy will not fix a printer in their place of business nor did they offer to send it out to be fixed. I am very dissatisfied with Best Buy for this. Whether this printer is fixed or not, I will never purchase anything from you again.

Q: QuestionI am going to buy a printer from Best Buy and want the printer set up service in my home. Does this include delivery of my new printer? Can the delivery/setup person haul away my old printers for recycling? What is the charge?

We may be able to take away the old printer for haul away. Whether we can or cannot while in the home, during these uncertain times surrounding health, you can always drop it off at the front desk in your local Best Buy for a free haul away! I would definitely ask the agent who comes out if they can right there though. It should be free either way. I hope this helps out! To start, I'd recommend running all of the maintenance tasks such as "clean the printhead", "align the printhead" and "clean the nozzles." These should be built right into the printer and can be found in the settings. This may fix the issue right there. Likely, you need to start with replacing the ink otherwise the printer won't function if it's completely empty. From there, it should be a little easier to move forward. If the ribbon broke off however, and parts need to be replaced, it's normally just easier to purchase a new unit.
